Col
Joe Thompson take a bow. Leicester will need heat advantages in heats 12 & 14 I suspect.

BlueIn2Red
Exciting stuff. With hindsight if either Leicester rider had laid it down after contact in the superheat, I reckon the referee might well have ruled in their favour. But I’m glad they didn’t and tried to do it the honest way.
Daniel Smith
Leicester are better without Fricke are they? 🤫 Guess what, he comes in as a guest and over both meetings, rips Leicester a new one 🤣 That should be leason learned from the Leicester promotion. When it comes to those crunch moments in big matches, a genuine No1 makes a huge huge difference.

Good job he did, the rest of your team couldn't rip the skin off a rice pudding tonight. 1

Fricke is a top rider, we have seen that in both meetings, he is the only rider riding tonight who can compete with the top two of Belle Vue. It is a shame he has had an inconsistent season for Kings Lynn
ShanoXtra
Funny how a rider who failed to get in the play off with his contracted team from the start of the season can now knock out another team in the semi-finals. It’s surprising really that anybody watches speedway anymore with genuine love for their team. Nowadays it’s just for everyone to watch the sport. Coleman is right, tribalism of cheering on your team is completely dead in this sport and exactly why speedway won’t get new supporters through the door. First time in 4 years I couldn’t be bothered to watch the play offs. Good meeting or not it’s just beyond a joke. Rules need to change next year with a lot of other bits too. I’m an Ipswich fan but to be honest even if we build an awesome team what’s the point when other teams can’t follow suit and have good and fair competition. Surely everybody wants to win a competitive league and not this current state of affairs. Saying that, good luck Sheffield and Belle Vue and I hope you make some brilliant racing in the final! Sheffield are lucky Fricke is available, it certainly makes it a more interesting final. Fricke is now part of the Sheffield play off team. mogmacrash
Loads of plaudits for Fricke but he could have easily cost Sheffield there place in the final with his excessively hard riding.

If Leicester had Kept Fricke, and was their choice not to, then make up of the main body of the team would not have been the same as what it is now. It would have had to be a lot weaker…..want to know how weak, look no further than Kings Lynn. Edited 6 hours ago by 1 valve
