I think what he’s trying to say is there’s two other people who scored 1 point between them who the finger should be pointed at first. Everyone knows what Paco is by now and as an outsider looking in I’d not have expected him to score much more, yes a poor heat 14 but when you look at his performances compared to Thomsens it’s night and day, he’d be the first on the list to go if they could find a decent replacement imo.

As a travelling fan for my club, also, I feel your pain. I can't help but feel that those fans are entitled to some kind of explanation... other than "setup". The only club that has a weaker number 6 right now is Birmingham with Hume, but that will change once/if Zagar comes back in. Some will be pinning their hopes on a rising star switch when Cairns becomes available this summer, but if people think he’s going to come in and be the saviour at reserve then they may well be disappointed. Yes, big talent, but very little experience and there’s some established rising stars in the teams already and he won’t find it easy.
