SGB Championship 2026 Confirmed Signings
Marksman replied to Paddy The Rebel's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The points per meeting is a pointless stat at the moment, for example Edinburgh's is skewed by the fact they've rode 3 out of 4 meetings at home (including a home draw) and already have an aggregate point only 4 meetings in. -
My parents were Birmingham fans, and I'm sure I remember them telling me that one Bank Holiday the Brummies were away somewhere in the afternoon and Finn scored a maximum, and then in the return fixture at Perry Barr in the evening he scored one!

So the Championship table so far, in terms of points per meeting:- Poole. 2.33 Edinburgh. 1.50 Plymouth. 1.33 Scunthorpe. 1.16 Glasgow. 1.00 Berwick. 1.00 Workington. 0.80 Redcar. 0.50 Oxford. 0.40 So who will make the playoffs? For me the top three 3 are in it's just a matter of which other team will make the cut...Berwick? - Today

They've already tried scraping the barrel with Ed Kennett

Dream on. Sorry, that is a bit of an obscure joke for those of a certain generation!

Workington v Glasgow 20/06/26 3 pm Championship.
Neila replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
After a day of rain all day in worky, it's dry now and a good forecast for 2morrow, so the track should be in top condition, to make a hopefully good meeting and a Comets win πππ΅βͺ. Just hope Max is ok after his off at Redcar tonight π€ -
Well he did get 15 for Glasgow at Poole the other week and scored more than Lawson. It was hot weather that week too, so track should be similar. Also I had money on Bagpuss saying that we should have a NL replacement! π Ooooh, harsh FB!!

Ipswich v Kings Lynn 18th June

Not itβs not illegal to video one or two races, a stream is a live feed which would rival what the Witches stream are providing at the same time. This is simply a video for a YouTube short to give a bit more coverage for speedway in general as shorts get faster draw in audience as itβs only a small clip. -
And Greg Blair saying a decent rider should adapt is laughable considering his limited abilities.

Bomber isn't suddenly going to learn how to gate at 43 years old!

IMO if Poole have arranged this fixture knowing that Richard Lawson has a prior engagement then they should only be allowed to use RR or a non CL riding NDL rider. That's not me being Anti Poole, that's me being a realist. There are plenty of other free dates when the fixture could be arranged for. Using Bomber with no disrespect to him, on current form makes Poole weaker, so that's 15+ for Bomber on the night.
