If that sort of money appears again use part on the middle guys and put an end doubling up Set a real differential between the leagues -
Jordan Jenkins returns as a Bandit in 2027.......

If I was chairing the AGM then yes I would!!
-
Oh yes I'm sure all plymouth fans are really worried about points limits, pretty irrelevant compared to potentially losing a speedway team, does this mean that if poole closed you would only be concerned about the effect it would have on the points limit for the remaining team??

And the majority, who run the sport like a hobby, aren't interested in developing the sport beyond their own needs...

Sheffield -V- Belle Vue POF Leg 1 Thursday 8th October

I get what you’re saying but something got to change because speedways dying on its arse. The whole play offs this year we re a waste of time not one team was going to beat Belle Vue who we re dominant all season .I just think scraping the knockout cup as it is and replacing with just the top 4 teams from the final league position s could keep teams battling to the end . Something s got to change to entice me back.I am one of those supporters whose drifted away from the sport .Have been to Owlerton only once this year . -
2027 - 8 Team Premiership

Hopefully if they get it over the line its a decent payout for the clubs but they need to avoid a situation like where the number ones all snaffled 100k+ in the Sky days and then most of them cleared off from the UK when the trough was empty. -
Might not have any choice, the issue with that is it has ramifications for the TV deal. Those of interest want more clubs.

Still think personally although not ideal stick with six club top league next year stabalise it get all teams competitive, with a view to getting a support package together to get Eastie in from 2028. -
I would say 2028 at the earliest.
-
Can only think they’re wanting to get a TV deal over the line first and that’s still ongoing. Gives them more time to get Eastbourne involved as well although I’m reliably informed that that has run in to issues that are proving difficult to resolve. Again, how long do they wait? Groundhog day 🙄

I think with Ablitt he just doesn’t quite have the consistently from meeting to meeting just yet, however I do think there is a good rider in there. He’s only young and dominated a number of the youth ranks when he was younger. For me he’s a 50/50 for 2027, wouldn’t be shocked to see him but also wouldn’t be shocked to see him dropped
-
That’s a difficult one.🤔Unless they are playing with someone else’s money.

Good to see that, as promised, this close season isn't going to be like the past others....

The AGM has been postponed with no new date proposed. Begs the question why? New TV deal? -
Trouble is you can’t sign a “last resort man on a near 8 pt av” you up sh#t creek if he does his usual antics after a few matches.Wide Berth would be recommended.
-
I guess if the number of Championship teams changes then the points limit would also change.

Ipswich were tipped early doors to win last season, two weak teams in Birmingham and Oxford, lets not pretend last season was a classic season it wasnt the Premiership has been on the slide for a few seasons. A club can only build to win, Louis actions didnt help and then having to rush Northampton in late too wasnt ideal. Will next season be any different? There doesnt appear to be much ambition with clubs wanting to move up, lets see how the mooted Polish rules have an impact. As Kyle Howarth stated even riders are bored with the repetition, will be interesting to see how things are come next spring. Its been the least pleasurable title win but it is what it is.

Hope plymouth can sort something out
