  1. Past hour
  2. Even as a season ticket holder, I have missed meetings this season because racing has been so sporadic I just can’t justify keeping Fridays clear when there are so few meetings to go to. The sign outside Ashfield says “every Friday March-October”. This season, we’ve only had enough meetings for every second Friday, April-August.
  3. The GP"s in Manchester showed Speedway, in the UK, can still attract plenty of people, at admission costs that are Premier League football level... As they bring relevance, credibility, close racing, and atmosphere.. Unfortunately, none of that is regularly replicated in domestic UK Speedway... There are a great many out there still following the sport, and closely, but don't see UK Speedway as something that warrants their attendance and monetary outlay... A huge opportunity for growth if those running UK Speedway ever listened and got things right...
  4. You do know it's on the worse race track in the league. And the team you support is only on track 4 to 6 times
  5. 1st of today's cry offs , batch in for jeppersen who's still feeling after effects of a shoulder injury. Probably won't be the last change today
  6. Yeah forgot about not being on TV, we going to struggle to get there for that time and any locals working will struggle also, but presume they not too bothered about crowd again not being on TV.
  7. Today
  8. It’s been done to death on Speedways Forums what they have got wrong ,but the “ boys club” just ignore.
  9. Polish media have gone into print with the date and wasn’t it announced on the evening ?
  10. You do know you the best riders in the league will be on display and there are 40% more heats than a regular meeting. Worth at least a few quid more surely?
  11. Thanks I understand all of that, just wanted to know where you got the information, because if it is the same trailer as everybody else saw we can't go booking flights and hotels based on the teaser alone.
  12. You would expect so but, most track guys would prefer a little lite rain until mid afternoon then do the track work.
  13. Live updates on Saturday https://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/1231/european-under-19-individual-speedway-championship-final-krsko.html

  15. Sunday’s 6th September play-off Semi’s 2nd legs matches line-ups. Poznan v Rybnik( 42-48) start time 12pm UK time. Poznan 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Rybnik 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Bydgoszcz v Lodz (45-45) start time 2.15pm UK time. Bydgoszcz 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Lodz 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  16. Couple of reasons i would say. The GP 2 boys have the same qualifying as the non sprint GP qualifying( 12 noon local time) and they want to give maximum time after the Friday racing to get the track in A 1 order for Saturday’s Sprint qualifying and meeting proper. Plus the ridiculous situation that there is no TV schedules to worry about as it’s not shown !!!
  17. Forecast is good. Dry overcast day so better for track prep. Let’s hope the racing is as good as last week.
  18. It is more races and a shared event, admission has gone up so stream has gone up as well.
  19. Today’s 1st round line-ups and live updates. https://speedwaynews.pl/relacja-na-zywo/1-final-dmpj-w-lublinie-2026/
  20. Yesterday
  21. The only way I could see it working based on Wood's comments is if the BSPL needed another PL track then a Northampton type arrangement might work if the likes of Busty are involved. Of course at this moment the BSPL don't need another PL track but who knows who may or may not run next season....
  22. As it's a shared event probably put price up due to this, but imo it's only a few pounds more, but could put people off buying the stream, and it looks like Poole trying to cash in, when they are probably not
  23. Averages from 1/9/2026 (Today) Sam Hagon 3.95 Mario Hausl 3.79 So Hagon stays at No2 https://britishspeedway.co.uk/2026-championship-declarations/
  24. Back in the day, track staff would know they were needed every Friday, maybe plan holidays around away matches or world finals if they were very keen not to miss a match. Nowadays, they may have other things to do on a Friday, but keep the calender clear on the rare occasions their club has a home match? I can understand, not wanting to keep every Friday clear when clubs maybe race twice a month on average, that could go for fans too?
