I wouldn't, in my opinion only Musielak and Brennan is a match up that could go either way, the rest are not equal. Massive difference at reserve with Tate head and shoulders above the Ipswich reserves. Of course anything can happen on the night and hopefully Ipswich can pull off a win to keep their fans happy.

I used to be a regular at Lynn from 89 to about 96 and remember Lee's second/third coming - I think his starting was a big issue as he'd been used to tape bending in the 70s early 80s and did not really get to grips with it.

Lee only rode 15 meetings, according to the complete history of the British League, he failed to turn up for a meeting in June, the club suspended him and he did not ride a bike again until 1991 Simmo only rode 10 meetings Over 40 matches including BL and League cup, Lynn won 4, draw 2 and lost 34, biggest tonking at home 23-55 to Cradley, biggest tonking on the road 60-18 at Oxford

Can't remember re Simmo, Lee was brilliant one meeting in every four, he would get double figures then in the other three either terrible or missing. I remember a few years later when he was back at Lynn again and his nerve had gone he was following Andy Merideth who was a junior wobbler at the time, Lee kept lining him up perfectly coming out of the corners but just didn't have the bottle then to make the pass. Might have been the year Knight went to Berwick to make way for yet another Lee comeback.

It will be slick, probably the only Ipswich rider that would want more dirt down is King so he will be voted down 6/1 Belle Vue with Tate at reserve will take this, they can even afford to carry Brady if he is in self preservation mode which at this point you can't blame him, unless Ipswich have Lawson and Nicholls go sick in the 2nd leg and are replaced by say Ben Cook and Chris Harris, this could be one of the biggest aggregate wins in play off history I think.

Didn't you have Simmons and Lee in 86 as well, or was Lee doing the okee cokee?

If they give the wildcards to holder, bewley, sayfutinow and laguta you would have 7 genuine contenders to be world champion and the GP hasn’t had that for a good few years

You should have been a Lynn supporter in the mid 80's Bobby Schwartz and six reserves v Oxford led by Neilson, Wigg and Cox , followed by Cradley with Gunderson, King, Phil Collins and Jan O'Pederson, when you were relying on Steve Redgeling to get north of ten every meeting you know your in trouble.

It’s sad that Emil and Artem aren’t in GP they would certainly be in the mix at the Top End.

Need to stop Belle Vue from hitting the 40 point mark just to keep things interesting imo. Can't see it happening at all tbh and I'm expecting a win on the night but only by a couple of points tbh, 47 - 43 to the Witches.

I would say King v Kildemand, Musielak v Doyle, Brennan v Cook are fairly equal especially around Foxhall. And not a great difference at reserve, I think either could outscore their counterpart. I wouldnt be that dismissive of Ipswich tbh.

He's all but got one hand on the World Title who could blame him for freewheeling a bit ,I'm not a fan but he or Lambert deserve the title if they beat the GOAT !

He did also pick up a lot of R/R outings in Heat 8 for Leicester last year which bloated his average. Hopefully he'll be back firing next year... I'd 100% take him at Ipswich, but agree with you that he may want to have another crack at things at Kings Lynn

It was literally cobbled together a few weeks before the season started as everyone including “Rob” knows 🙄 It’s been a crap league this year with two of only six clubs being out of it before a wheel was turned in anger and it’s been done to death. Belle Vue realistically only had ONE challenger this year who then lost their top rider and couldn’t replace him. Hopefully Sheffield will get Fricke in for the play offs so a Belle Vue-Sheffield final is at least mildly interesting.

Yes true but Ipswich look like panic buys, it looks like Ipswich shopped at Aldi and Belle Vue at M&S!!
