  1. Past hour
  2. our track shop does very well tbf
  3. Just wondering what's happening with St.Andrews stadium when BCFC move to the old Wheels site? I think the discussion/suggestion for a new home/track, is most likely deemed to be futile as there aren't enough paying customers to merit the sport in the City? If Bham were to return it would be on the back of someone having money to burn that holds a passion/attachment to the Club/sport? (not a business plan etc etc etc....) Unless there was a unified collaboration of B'ham/Cradley/Wolverhampton/Coventry....(I know this has been suggested many times over, but the feedback is negative....)
  4. If the sport here was run in a professional manner & the supporters had that bond with the team as their riders that could happen here. We are now in a position where riders over here in the main are just hired hands who ride for your club one night & someone else the next in in the uk.
  5. Yesterday
  6. Hope BV can keep it close but doubt it, Emil will be a different rider at home.
  7. Admission for Grudziadz & Częstochowa league fixtures were less than £10 when I went. Torun was more expensive. Bydgoszcz were practically giving none grand stand tickets away.
  8. Had they put those two fixtures on the same day with a few hours between people have been able to attend both.
  9. Yes cant see it weakens Glasgow and I am sure they wouldnt have accepted the date if they thought couldnt get good guests. Klindt rides with Harris at Kings Lynn so that should help.
  10. 52-38 58 - 34 67 - 23 Three convincing home wins at Foxhall over the Aces. Most would be surprised if any different on Thurs. The Aces have struggled for points at reserve and can see the Witches making the most of the Aces struggles away from the NSS. Perhaps with adverse weather it may the home track advantage minimal but can only see a home win by10+
  11. Dan has ridden 14 heats at Armadale this season and has 12 wins/paid wins and 2 second places good for a 11.43cma so while it may not weaken Glasgow depending on what Nicolai does there is no guest who strengthens them in regards Dan as even if Nicolai goes through the card, Dan may well have done the same. Wood is a definite upgrade on Perry I’d say and as for Lambert/Nagal who knows as Nagal may have scored ten or none as an Armadale debutant
  12. I thought it was exactly what he meant, making the track to suit the home riders although Ellis would not want it too rough, apparently still carrying a injury.
  13. With Nick Morris having been down to guest on Sunday for Redcar v Poole, Workington v Berwick now have a rearranged match on Sunday afternoon. Have Redcar got a fresh guest in for Sunday or taking a gamble that Morris could still make it for the evening meeting 🤷‍♂️
  14. I would think Klindt is an improvement on Dan Thomson, far better suited to Edinburgh.
  15. Thanks. Would not want it for speedway GB. Don't want any less races, still remember the old days with around 21 races including second half. I don't suppose admission prices would be adjusted to reflect the reduction in races or riders. Presume there would be no rider replacement, with only five riders. Could be an issue if any rider had to withdraw early due to injury.
  16. Indeed, Jacob Hook scored 13 for Workington at reserve then 0 guesting for Glasgow at 2 the very next week last month.
  17. Well take 3 for this meeting on Sunday, but unfortunately looking at the weather predictions a named storm could be due on Sunday 😗 so another call off more than possible. unfortunately, all this nice summer weather with fixture gaps, now the last meeting, looks like it does not want to take place
  18. Based on one off the cuff comment by Doyle on Monday evening. Pretty sure thats not exactly what he meant.
  19. This forecast for tomorrow looks OK. https://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/Ip4_5ll
  20. How many belle vue tee shirts, scarfs and hoodies etc did the belle vue track shop sell Monday night or any race night for that matter ? Something I witnessed last week at zielona gora and gorzow was just how many fans brought the merch from the club stores, there were que’s out the doors, team shirts and scarfs were sold in huge quantities generating substantial income for the clubs and it seemed no matter what you wanted they had it with their logo on it
  21. Talk of Ipswich making the track rough, hope it doesn't turn into a farce where riders struggling to turn. Maybe hoping it could affect some Ipswich riders.
