The actual track prep has always been a bit hit of miss whatever excuse they want to use.IMO The riders just have to get on with it. Tough on home riders set up wise though.

The excuse would be that BRFC were playing so no access to the track. I thought it was patchy on bend 3 early doors, whether that got fixed by the constant track grades, or the riders just simply tried to avoid it once they knew where it was.

Heat 7 would have been a good time to use one. Throw batchelor in there with Tate and instead of conceding a 5-1, it could have swung the other way and stopped redcars momentum. Using it as late on as they did, even though we did get a 5-1, you were still facing wright and king in 2 of the next 3 races.

More great team management, everyone bar your number 1 can take a rr ride but you give 2 rides to your 2.35 average number 8. Ritchings is a value option on his average but come on. Classic today at the Chargers meeting, who needed a guest in the team. Freddie Hodder being interviewed said that Schrocker called him up to guest, only to be informed by Hodder himself that he actually rides for the opposition so would be unable to take the booking 🤣

Ipswich tend to sign riders with ability but much more importantly have the right attitude and professionalism. jason has all of those in abundance.

Easy to make a profit with other company's assets. I find it strange, and well done to them for doing it, that their sponsors stay on board when all they seem to get for their money is being tagged in on social media posts and exposure in the arse end of Europe. Once a year they'll get Bewley, Lambert and possibly Woffinden rising for them. If they want to keep costs low and probably still attract a decent crowd run some U24 tests against Aussie, they've obviously got the promotional nouse, they may even get more sponsorship out of it. As things stand at the moment I can't quite see the benefits British Speedway is getting from it?

Maybe so, but all of the Aussies and most of the Brits are based in the UK, which would make it fairly easy to run a test series in the summer. Where there's a will, there's always a way!

How would that work ? Eh ? Most people need a car to drive to the stadium as its too far to walk from the town for many people. In total there are three parking "areas" around the land that the stadium is built on but most people (and therefore the largest parking area) want to park as close as possible. If you start deliberately reducing the size of that area then some people will stay away !

As ‘ Team GB ‘ is a private business it assumably needs to turn a profit, staging a test match in the UK with UK based riders isnt likely to make them a big sum and attracting the big stars to ride costs big wages.
