Moto GP has been on a break but restarts this weekend.

Can see Ipswich struggling this year . Not that it matters in the sport these days. Packed their team with average riders , decent scorers if it’s their day . Would find it hard to be entertained by them. No big hitters. As it’s about entertainment at the end of the day, hats off to Lemon. Kurtz and Bewley as two of the most exciting raiders in the world provide that home and away. The Aces fans are thankful for that . Other clubs and their supporters should be too . Never mind what the rest of Belle Vue team is like. These two more than make up for anything else . Who cares who wins the honours?? Just enjoying the racing is what matters imo

Ryan was fine just a bit battered and bruised, However Jack Holders foot could be a worse thing after getting it caught in Dan Thompson rear wheel in heat 15, photos of wheel are on social media and Jacks foot looked rather sore .

Seems like Douglas was OK to walk to pits, so should be OK.

I see the Premiership KOC finalists have been decided before Northampton have hosted either of their home matches, not an ideal situation to bring in a decent crowd! However maybe the locals won't be aware of the situation & turn up anyway, plus most clubs usually get big crowds for their opening nights.

Hard racing between Howarth and Picko, nothing malicious in it for me. As for the scuffle after the race, it’s the entertainment business after all! Dickson knew exactly what he was doing with Howarth in heat 13 when D.Thompson was the better speedway decision, I’m all for it.

Easier said than done,only Monarchs reserves look vulnerable at Home.Monarchs Heatleaders are strong at home.Redcar look more strength in depth. Ht13/15 will be the key to this one. IMO

I've not seen Spencer ride this year, it's a general comment about wanting riders to be given a fair chance before making team changes. If he's been well off the pace & not looking like beating anyone, then maybe I'd think differently? After Grmek had a poor first match & with Klima about to move into the top 5, they could look very suspect at reserve & wish they'd gone for Alfie Bowtell?

Bears just need to defend , no last places, close match ,12 lead should be enough

With new ownership and a good start this seems like a seamless transition from last year. Interesting that many have written us off before the season has started. However, make no mistake this team is solid and barring injuries that can happen I think this will be a solid season and I think the owners should take a lot of credit for the seamless transition and professionalism that has continued.

In the Star today it states that flyers were handed out at the last Stock Car meeting, which I suppose is a good start. In my opinion, they really should be flooding SM sites in and around Northampton with information about our sport with exciting action images (of any club or event) and saying hey this is on your doorstep soon! The report of the KL meeting in the local newspaper carried an image of a Panthers rider in action.
