  1. Past hour
  2. Częstochowa could be in big trouble! if an audit is requested, much like what happened to Stal, they will be in a lot of trouble. The club has been found to be in debt but nobody has been told how much just yet. Lampart has not been paid 1.2 million złoty, he hasn’t be able to pay his mechanics the full amount or invest in new equipment which is why he struggled this year, he was never paid his full amount of ‘pre season’ money for preparation and hasn’t got his full payment for points either. Woryna found out the clubs financial situation and already confirmed he will ride for Lublin very early ‘last season’. Doyle is said to be owed 1.5 million zloty and would rather go to Krosno in M.2 than resign with Częstochowa. Mads Hansen is also said to be owed money but no amount has been confirmed. When the owner of Częstochowa was asked in an interview his reply was very telling!…”I neither confirm or deny the information, I only tell you we are working on the situation in hand”. This is the reason the club are yet to announce any new players for the 2026 season.
  3. this is what Adam posted on Facebook yesterday and was in line timing wise with rew guesting being announced
  4. Not quite sure what you want of him to do ,I find his English is better than my Polish ( non existent I might add) he appears to me extremley modest likeable young man . He dose all his talking on the track IMO he is an excellent advert for the sport ,had Krutz won he would have gone home for the winter and would have only been seen in the UK next season because he rides there !
  5. Holder has spoken with the Stał President and has signed. The only way he doesn’t ride is if stal doesn’t get a licence. Holder has no decision in this matter now and neither does another club, it’s purely down to the licence.
  6. NO, it's a 'deadly' virus - one so 'deadly' it only has a survival rate of OVER 99.8% & you have to take a test to 'prove' you have it. Then when the test is + (which of course it always is as the tests used are flawed) to defeat the 'deadly' virus you stay home for a few days - just like you did in the good old days when the flu was about.. If only SS had taken the 25th 'safe & effective' boooooster injection & worn a face nappy 24/7.
  7. A pity this was rearranged from a couple of weeks ago when some of us had arranged travel and hotels. Hope its a good meeting for everyone and the Young Stars monopolise the top 5 😅
  8. I am always amazed that at a tense part of the meeting Abbi stands there with her mic going shall we try and get a word with x - I think i'd be saying sod off to her!
  9. I believe Ellis has a high potential of riding Thursday. Doyle stated Ellis is ok and hoping to ride and 30 mins ago Ellis posted this. With Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood playing in the background, if you don’t know the song it plays… (I’m happy, feeling sad, I’ve got sunshine in a bag, I’m useless but not for long, the future is coming on). Cryptic much 😆
  10. Personally I think the whole 'on their phones' comment by Dickson has been blown way out of proportion, for me the point he was trying to make was that some of his riders had their heads down and needed cajoling hence the team meeting. Despite how he prepares his track when we race there I have a lot of time for him, you always get honesty when he speaks and he is always very gracious to the opposition. He wears his heart on his sleeve and I'd suggest if a microphone gets put under his nose while feelings are running high during a Play Off final then you will probably hear something a bit juicy, probably why TNT did that.
  11. There is... but somebody should tell the World Champ 👍🏻
  12. Today
  13. I agree regarding interpretation. I've always been concerned with the lack of any physical kerb at King's Lynn - I remember being on the centre when racing was taking place and feeling distinctly vulnerable to a bike ploughing into me off the second bend at full pelt. I'm surprised no-one has ever raised that as a H&S issue!
  14. When it matters, in the play-offs, he has so far been good, 4+2, 5+3 and 6 - clearly outscoring his opponents, I don't disagree in that he has had one or two bad meetings - needs a good 4-6 score tomorrow as well but I feel saying hes been just ok is a little harsh on him!
  15. So it's a sad farewell to speedway at Perry Barr. The local council/lease holders couldn't wait to get the bulldozers on site and have already erected a wall around the site to keep the travellers out. Will we ever see a return of the the red B or will it be left in history as what was a great sport. Although I wasn't a long time fan, I've had a few good years going there and working there and meeting many people whose club this was. To them this was their whole world, who spent many many hours and years trying to keep it going. In the end it just wasn't to be but, better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all. So farewell brummies wherever you are until we meet next time around.
  16. Why would arry be any different to the BSPL management as they don't usually turn up to any previous finals
  17. I hope that Keynan has been getting some practice in as when was his last competitive meeting?
  18. See your point, perhaps this seasons top8 should not be allowed in the qualifiers next season and have to rely on top 8 place again or if they do not make it should allowed back in qualifiers the season after.
  19. I’m sorry but this just isn’t true and I disagree with Taps here for once. Edwards has been “ok” at best. Certainly wouldn’t say superb. He was outstanding against Birmingham, but that was an exception rather than the rule. He’s had some dreadful meetings. Yes he’s a rising star and nobody should be expecting too much, but he’s now one of the more experienced rising stars and has been riding fairly well in the championship. Jenkins didn’t start the season fit. He then had further numerous falls which completely ruined his season. Often riding through the pain barrier and being strapped up to the eyeballs, he’s tried to battle through it before another fall made him call time on his season early. Despite this, Jenkins from his 13 meetings has still averaged MORE than Edwards has from his 18 meetings this season. Certainly isn’t any kind of “Brucie bonus” to have picked up Edwards instead of Jenkins. Definitely fortunate though that he was available to fill the vacancy I’ll concede that! The other options would have left Ipswich badly exposed in that area.
  20. There is no speedway outside of Poland and Sweden
  21. I think that was why he was moaning about the 8 day rule but doubt it would affect Leon much whatever the track is like.
  22. Kinda crazy to have Glasgow riders guesting when Glasgow are there 2 days later! Unless they think track will be completely different.
