  1. Past hour
  2. YouTube had 23,000 viewers of the one live meeting most of Poland have canal as part of their tv package, I do too, it says 130,000 watched the 2 division matches too, it says the fiqures were from their tv and streaming services and were their biggest ever numbers
  3. To be fair though I think those figures are due to the match that was shown live for free on YouTube. No chance that there were over one million people paying to watch!
  4. I like the way we are being binned off by loads of people before a wheel is turned. Are these the same people who said lynn would spank us over 2 legs? Jeez! Unfortunately most supporters know Jack all. As lambo said before on 360 they are keyboard warriors. 2 comfortable wins over lynn and what I like about it is we have gone about our business quietly and Paul Hurry has said virtually nothing so have some faith in the team and yes if I was a bookie I'd back the home team but until then give it a rest.
  5. I’m always on top, suits the wife down to the ground
  6. As a nation do we ever get things right
  7. Not BSN but tv, over 1 million viewers watched the extraleague tv coverage last weekend and that’s along side huge crowds actually at the 4 meetings, where are we going wrong
  8. Today
  9. Looking forward to the comets 1st meeting, early shower has now gone, blue sky and sunshine now, UTC 🔵⚪🏁😀
  10. Thanks, I did get it too, so I guess it’s all ok. I do recall getting more last year though - “what’s coming up in the next two weeks” for example, which I found very useful to make plans ahead of time.
  11. Yes, just received my notification of today's meeting 👍
  12. Think I shall keep the math simple and go for a monumental Witches spanking, 60-30 Aces
  13. As I say, it can still be a great night out... If you go for the racing and not take the team sport angle too seriously.. If they could harness the racing into a "proper team sport" operating model, (like other countries do), then that would truly be a game changer for many who no longer regularly attend, and may also then generate some sponsorship interest from "outside" the sport.. Tom Brennan will be up against the Aces this Monday and has so far this season ridden for fhe Aces as many times as he has for hs own team... That is the kind of thing that makes it more "sports entertainment"....
  14. 1. Alfie Bowtell 9.41 (Bux) 2. Ollie Binns 2.00 (KL) 3. Ben Morley 8.40 (Leic) 4. Jake Mulford 8.74 (KL) 5. Ben Trigger 9.06 (Red) 6. Ben Whalley 2.00 (Ed) 7. Seth Norman 2.00 (Leic) Total: 41.59
  15. Disappointing meeting on a rain affected track which the trackman doesn't seem to be able to cope with , driving around with a grader that hardly touches the track ? First half of the meeting was dire , Klindt showing his dark side where as Kye Thomsen attacked it and got his rewards, best Ive seen him ride. Once the track dried it improved and Pijper and Scott were very impressive for such young lads. Edinburgh were solid enough to keep it respectable and I think will go through overhaul.
  16. This will be won from the 3, 4 and 5 positions, The Comets look very strong the Scorpions don't.
  17. I’m with you there but unfortunately this goes against the majority of the cartel and those on here. I hated Cradley back in the day but marvelled at the racing antics of Jan O etc. Yes we may have lost but the speedway was exquisite. Bigger picture thinking by looking to make the sport as a whole more appealing doesn’t go down well with the old school currently strangling our wonderful sport. We are now in the era where winning is all and if that means tedious gate’n’go speedway then so be it. The problem there is if you are a newbie who is not yet invested in the team then the lack of thrills and entertainment means you ain’t coming back.
  18. I have both eyes open and a metaphorical baseball bat to beat the BSF/BSPL cartel with. I can acknowledge it’s a losing battle though.
  19. I’m not sure anyone is blaming Cluff and Loftus for the defeat however if you are going to compete in the league a solid reserve pairing is an absolute must. One point between them even away from home isn’t enough. I’m surprised Dayle Wood wasn’t in the team this year tbh.
  20. I hope Cooper does well, he is an exciting rider to watch.
  21. Are BSN still sending out emails with details of the upcoming schedules? They used to, but I’ve not seen any for a while, so wonder if I slipped off the list. I did get an email about the cancellation due to the van breaking down last week though oddly.
  22. Its never boring when you win. I realise losing an entertaining meeting can be enjoyable but sport is about winning. Crowds do not turn up for teams that lose every week.
