Certainly not the most inspiring team on paper, but I guess that was to be expected. Let's hope they they don't start with s few loses on the trot,, otherwise the safe hands Chris is leaving the team, might not look so safe when the crowd numbers drop off

Trouble is, Foxhall is a long way from most tracks, and Championship circuits are a major trek: Oxford 144 miles* Scunthorpe 189 miles Poole 205 miles Redcar 265 miles Plymouth 310 miles Workington 340 miles Berwick 357 miles Glasgow 417 miles Edinburgh 425 miles * even Oxford is a bugger of a journey from east Suffolk - I know, because I've driven it many times (when Son #2 was at Uni).

To put up with accepting the total disrespect that the leaders of our beloved sport are showing their customers with regards the new season , yet we’ll continue to turn up , makes us either totally delusional or we can’t shake off the bug . I get the feeling many will try to this time and rightfully so. They’ve failed miserably on their watch.

Speaking as a speedway fan and not the parent of a rider. I would not be attending a meeting this year. To be left in the dark to this extent yet expected to pay my hard earned and turn up to watch god knows who on a random date yet to be determined…. I’d have found another sport to follow weeks ago.
