British final 15th August

Apologies... That completes the list .... They only really have ONE job don't they? With the FIM having their fixture list out well in advance... And yet???...... -
We had plenty at Newport mate, him and Lemon being the stand outs

Feel a bit sorry for Tom. Garry may always has a rider in his teams like a sacrificial lamb who will only get 3 rides and normally they will be on outside gates against stronger opponents and the other reserve will get the easier rides in better gates. nothing wrong with using those tactics and I’m sure the riders know this before they sign up

Scored 20 plus 1 from 7 at Coventry for Eastbourne but was pretty average in his next meeting at Arlington.

Can't argue, except hardly 'raved' But yes, highlighted Ben and Reid Battye as the two to look out for. Here in UK, both hit the ground running - Battye was running up huge Championship scores when struck down from behind by an out-of-control Dane, and Whalley has been a superb reserve for Edinburgh's Academy so far . It was only a matter of time before he ascended to the CL. So, quietly pleased with my talent-spotting!

A certain @crescent girl raved about this kid in Australia over winter, could be one to watch, especially if he is qualified British ?

Don't forget he's a Poole rider... surely they're to blame 👍🏻😁 -
Not really, he’s on a very false 2.00 average as it’s his first season in British speedway. Once he gets his first true average, he’ll be a heat leader on a near 10 point average. It’s no different to Will Cairns and Cooper Rushen starting on a 2.00 last season. I like Tom, he’s given it his all, but Ben is quicker and will score more points

At reserve. Makes the decision even more baffling.

Oxford Cheetahs v Glasgow Tigers 17/6/26 19:30

If Glasgow had got beaten it would have been how terrible the track is but because they won no mention of how bad the track was. -

I think you will find that this is the landlords and developers fault... Or the promoters of the 70's who used to take their money out of the stadia in a wheelbarrow and didn't purchase the stadiums they raced in..... Oh, and Poland obviously... -

That’s positive, but unless they sort out the track issues and, by consequence, improve the racing, they’ll continue to lose support, as is becoming more evident every week. -

Hmm. So Glasgow moan about Poole being too slick and that is why they can't win there. Yet Oxford is slick but they can win. So obviously not the reason! Reading through everything seems like Oxford are trying to save as much money as possible. Probably just what you have to do when you only have a short term future. -
The gift. TAF.
