GP venues and news for 2027

I seem to remember that when I went to Foxhall many years ago there was a curfew. Is that still in place? If so, what time is it and what would happen if the GP ran out of time or can the curfew be cancelled or extended for a special meeting? -
Newsflash. Russian atrocities didn't start with Ukraine. Do you know anything about Russian history? If not, try asking any of the following... Poland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Chechnya, Georgia, Afghanistan, Syria, Japan, China or South Korea to name but a few. And that's not to mention the crimes against their own people, either. The Soviet Union specialised in rapid, industrialised internal terror, political purges, and ideological subjugation that killed millions of its own citizens.

I see Plymouth have got the begging bowl out stating if they dont raise 46k for a new air fence they wont be open next season! Have promotions over the years that making such threats does no good? Anyone with half a brain cell isn't going to invest in a new fence for a club that isn't financially able to afford it themselves.

Its been a nice little earner for Fricke with four extra meetings he didn't expect. The Sheffield colours seem to suit him more than the Kings Lynn colours. -

A "True No1" is the 'be all and end all' when it comes to big meetings. They are and always will be your match winners. Strength in depth will forever fall short when it really matters. Leicester using Douglas over Fricke killed them over the 2 meetings that matter most. You need a "Team" to get you to the Play-Offs but "True No1s" to get you over the line. Saying what-if's with Masters or Howarth is irrelevant because we all know, there's a reason they're all 6.00- average rider's. Because they're average, thus making them inconsistent. -

Ask the Indians about the benefit of the British Empire. Next time you throw stones at Russia, take a closer look in the mirror. -

I know not everyone agrees with the play-off system but when you get drama like that there's nothing better. You see riders like Joe Thompson who suddenly have the meeting of their career and nearly become the hero, Leon Flint had a poor night until effectively saving Sheffield in heat 14 when a Leicester heat advantage looked nailed on. And that's before you get to the final two races. Hoping we get something similar in the final!
