He would replace Nielsen and, score more points !!!

Especially useful if the spare points allowed them to sign a 10+ rider for Morris

I assume it's Killeen

Which would be odd, given

1) how much Oxford seem to be invested in Killeen

2) that Killeen has a higher average than Boughen in the NDL

Maybe it's Atkins? His scores have dried up recently. Would be incredibly harsh though.

NL average is a dubious comparison considering Killeen has only completed 1 meeting all season and at reserve vs Boughen's 9 all in the 1-5 (and Boughen beat Killeen at Oxford twice in that sole meeting) .

Certainly be interesting next season if both are included as some egos could take a bit of a battering.

Boughen is the far better rider imo always looks in control.

I've caught a couple of Cubs meeting this year and Ashton has impressed me as he appears in control. The racing brain will come in time. I hope wherever he ends up he take a more medium to long term view rather than take the best financial offer.  Smart move signing for Leicester in the NDL as they can make their track available for their riders during the week and not everyone has this luxury.

Is it still the case that a club can sign a rider to be on their retained list without him needing to ride for them? I think that’s what Belle Vue did with James Pearson

It almost seems Premiership sides can do that i.e Pearson, but Championship clubs can't (once riders race 8 matches they become an asset).

So its Oxford with a Friday debut.

Yep, replaces Killeen. I’m shocked it happened, but delighted.

I reckon Berwick might get LK to replace CC who's probably out for the season.

Imagine being top and still changing the team because you are worried about everyone else.

The guest booking before his made his return to Oxford makes this make a lot of sense.
