I would think a new comer would be more likely to ask questions. My teenage daughter has been coming to the speedway for about a year now and she asks lots of questions and I’d have to answer I don’t know. I don’t think that’s being negative? Could you explain it? This is just yet another situation where the rules aren’t clear or even non existent. I still can’t point to the law that resulted in Workingtons points deduction last year. I’m not picking on this particular situation the whole system is broken. Any other sports in the case of Workington would have published the breach of the rule or law. This case is a grey area and there should be no grey areas. How can anyone take the sport seriously if the governing body doesn’t?

I love Jason Edwards, he's one of my favourite riders around and he seems like such a nice lad, so I feel awful suggesting this but: Simon Lambert and Jason Edwards out Charles Wright and 2.19 in Tom Spencer? Charlie Southwick? Jack Roberts? Really feel like Jake Mulford is starting to find a little form this season, so I don't see the number 4 spot being too bad for him, particularly at home, and it allows Charles back in the team and Nicolai to stay, meaning the back end of the meeting will be stronger. Jake Allen as 3rd heat leader is very strong and Jody or Ace at 2 and 6 means there'll always be a solid 2 and very good 6 in the team. Just need to find a 2.00er who can pick up a couple of points here and there. The team looks way more balanced like this imo. 1. Charles Wright 9.11 2. Jody Scott 4.40 3. Jake Allen 6.64 4. Jake Mulford 4.56 5. Nicolai Klindt 8.73 6. Ace Pijper 4.37 7. 2.19 -
A very pertinent comment on this evenings Polish coverage from @TTT Where he mentions how injuries have made this Polish season interesting as the big guns have been impacted by injuries, so other teams can compete... That is sport.... In the UK, Wroclaw, and Gorzow, as an example, would have brought in guests from other teams to cover... If Poland did that, they know they are finished as fans, sponsors, and TV would walk away.. A few years ago Wroclaw, the best team overall, got hammered in the final due to their injuries... Sh*t Hapoens... That is sport...

Personally I think the FIM are to blame, they are the ones who set the technical regs. In sports like F1 they press the reset button every few years or the cars would be far too dangerous for the tracks they are racing on, the FIM don't seem to do this, for Speedway at least.

Howarth factor involved maybe, but that’s the way the sport is run these days.Weather forecast doesn’t look as dire as made out.
