There has been multiple zoom calls by all accounts with the 2 league/ 1 league scenario back on the table. I would imagine not all Premiership teams will be overly keen to compete in a 5 team league . 

Poole have finished with only one rider over 8.00

In 1983 (chosen at random) we had Cradley visit 3 times and Sheffield hosted Coventry 4 times. Multiple visits have gone on for years and are not the main reason for none attendance imo. 

Anyone heard anything on the back of last Wednesdays ‘emergency’ BSPL meeting? Believe it was called as all not well with the set up costs initially to Northampton as under egged, causing them to not want to enter in the Prem and then other Promoters not happy with 5 team league (Belle Vue, Ipswich, Kings Lynn and Sheffield) as Glasgow and Poole staying where they are in Championship.  Be interesting to see if it is 5 teams if sticking with the initially agreed 6 plus RS teams with 36 average (no cap on riders above a certain average) 

Still wouldn't be shocked to see Scunny in the Premiership, If anyone is going to save the Premiership from a 5 Team League then it's more than likely going to be Godfrey imo.

Can’t say I’m a massive fan of restricting team building beyond an overall limit but the one over 8 thing doesn’t really weaken the league or teams that much imo  This year only 2 teams started with 2 8+ riders these being Berwick and Redcar. The name of the game has and always will be finding riders who can improve their average so restricting teams to 1 8+ rider doesn’t change that.
