Whatever the result the racing been night and day compared to Thursday. People go on about throttle jockeys, give me throttle jockey racing any day compared to that crap from Ipswich.6 points

The NSS is such a good track it does make many others look worse than they are,,, if that was my home track I would be there every week without hesitation5 points

If you ever come back, yours will be a crap track in comparison as well , as are most. You've won loads back in the day with a sh*t track , compared to others many times5 points

Anyway back to the speedway! Chris Louis you beauty, Doyle and Emil are box office and it’s been a joy to watch them all season, reaching the final after winning the cup the icing on the cake, stick that in ya pipe and smoke it lemon hahaha4 points
-
Brilliant choreographed speedway for all the muppets who were entranced by a staged match. To all the participants well done and hope you all are payed well. this is why no one bothers to watch.4 points

What a heat 15.That just proves you can't really team ride here. How many times did all positions change. What a track,if we get any more new tracks hopefully they will base it on the Belle Vue track.Very envious of all you who live close and attend every meeting.4 points

Could it be any more obvious that Tatum wants Aces to win. never thought I’d say this as a Lynn girl but come on you Witches4 points

If you have never seen a fixed race then wake up to live entertainment and the need for it4 points

Peaking at the right time is massive in sport. You’ve got one team here that was declared champions by the masses halfway through the year and another that was written off, tables have certainly turned now.4 points

The issue for me is the fixtures and British speedway's inability to get fixtures done in a timely fashion. Oxford should never have had to ride a home fixture on a Sunday in mid September. It wasn't that long ago we were bemoaning the lack of British riders in Polish leagues, we can't now complain that they are missing our fixtures to be there when we can't get our own act together.4 points

As discussed the same when Charles went out if he didn’t go and stayed to ride in the uk for Redcar it would mean a 28 day fim ban so wouldn’t be able to ride anywhere4 points

Congratulations Ipswich. Full marks to Jason Doyle for making the effort to race tonight after the horrific looking accident. He really is a loyal rider to UK speedway .3 points

Definitely, put it in the same box as xmas adverts and xmas stuff in the shops now, both should be outlawed until the end of November at least.....bah humbug.....3 points

A lot of the team building will be academic until the league structure is announced, no? Never know a season of so much uncertainty ahead - will it be one league, two league, three leagues? A good Championship side might not be that great if it's just one big league for instance.3 points

While I agree with most of what you're saying, can you really blame Connor Bailey for signing for Wroclaw at the stage of the season where he knew he would only be required to race on a Sunday? He wasn't to know that a meeting would then be rearranged for a Sunday, not one of either clubs' dedicated race nights? Should he have turned down the chance to impress in Poland on the off chance? Bigger issue for me is the fixture congestion/backlog that has caused clubs to try and cram in the playoff fixtures desperately on any day, even knowing they won't be able to field a full strength team.3 points

To be honest, I think that’s the feeling of most of the current fans that we have left now and the promoters also. The sport has less credibility than WWF or monster trucks and has become a bank holiday treat rather than a regularly attended event resulting in crowds no longer at a sustainable level. It’s a great shame for many clubs and fans, but it is what it is and it’s not going to change, I’ll continue to enjoy the racing at the National Speedway Stadium at whatever level it is, but I do feel for those who no longer have a team in this once great sport to follow.3 points

Bit pathetic from Masters to have a go at Hume for fighting for his position, as Danyon said on interview,he did nothing wrong.3 points

Still a healthy crowd though for an off day fixture. Seemed to fill up just before star time.3 points

Congratulations to the Witches, 18 was a big ask and then falling 22 behind made it an impossible task that we nearly pulled off. Pity yet another injury hit us at play off time but the performance at Ipswich and the first four heats tonight did for us. Overall Ipswich did the job and i hope they go onto win it, Doyley and Emil really are two top quality riders enjoy watching them both. Good racing and a good advert for the sport. Good Luck Witches2 points

Well done Ipswich throughly deserved. With all due respect, done it yet again with a 6 man team whilst carrying a rider who shouldn’t be out there. Makes the achievement all the more impressive.2 points

Cracking meeting... Well done Ippo and all the best for the final... Always liked Chris Louis and felt he is one of those that could really move the sport forwards.. Special mention to Captain Kurtz, absolutely gave everything over both legs and hammered the pit gate after Ht 15 he was so pissed off... Got to be back next season as the Aces No1... Ultimately I think Wright missing was the game changer as his will to win is always worth a couple of extra points at least, and he seems to avoid last places in those "big races"which the Aces had too many of over the two legs.. Emil and Doyle were brilliant at the end though, and that ultimately is what you pay the big bucks for, what a superb minute and a bit of Speedway... Well Done Ipswich, best of luck in getting the double...2 points

I am sure he knows that, he cant be that stupid.2 points

Firstly congratulations Ipswich and good luck in the final. Incredibley proud of the Aces tonight they gave it absolutely everything, we were so so close in the end but it wasn't to be. What an amazing meeting that was that is Speedway at it's very very best well done to all 13 riders you put on a great show. 2 interesting points from our owner tonight: Aces Attendance has grown 36% since 2016 and it's 7% up on last season. Roll on 2024. 22 points

shouldn’t they draft kerr and ellis back in. otherwise it doesn’t look like much of a sheffield team2 points

Shame Ipswich won that. Crap track compared to BV for the neutral. Some decent racing tonight and heat 15 was good fun.2 points

Since Riss is a good long track rider,,, you would think the bigger tracks would suit him,,,, I really hope he isn't anywhere near the team next year,,, even on a low average2 points

But Bailey wasn’t….he was only signed after Shane’s declared he wasn’t going to be fit and he had already got a Polish contract before his deal with Redcar. The problem here is not the riders, it’s the BSPL’s handing of the hole play off situation , fixtures and the ill thought out rules2 points

Ms Hockenhull said at the end of Friday's proceedings, the inquiry would resume on Tuesday.2 points

Ipswich won by 18 at Foxhall so no reason why the Aces can't do that tonight - don't think R/R will hamper them too much, their reserves perform well at home.2 points

Assuming the requirements don’t change for next year, Lasse has one of the best average discrepancies in the league. His 2023 average is about 0.7 above his rolling average, so if there’s any hope he can match his 2023 average next year, he’s good value. He does seem to always be injured though. I’m not actually 100% I’ve ever seen him race at Armadale come to think of it! Which is probably why I’ve only just noticed his home average is quite weak…2 points
