Fair play to Drew Kemp putting his club before that other silly nonsense8 points

Just as well you didn't have an accident. I bet illegally parking on private land isn't covered by insurance. TBH it amazes me, people come on here and social media constantly asking Can I pay cash ? Can I pay by card ? Can I park at the stadium etc ? So they've managed to use the Internet to find a way to ask a question but can't find the official website that has the answers.5 points

You seem to have a thing about Kerr (3, 3, 3, 2, 0). Lawson had 3 Ht wins, Cook 1, Rowe 1. No one else won a race. I bet Comets fans would be happy if Batch had 3 gated heat wins.5 points

Given the recent doubts over the club's future, it's hardly surprising that supporters should celebrate what to you may seem a very minor success. There is a bigger picture out there.5 points

Huge difference between true FIM events (ie, World Championships) and those under the banner of FIM Europe, which are in the main a growing series of events organised for Polish TV.4 points

I know the league isn’t won in July As an Ipswich fan we were touted as the best team in the top league but injuries and certain riders off form means we aren’t certain of winning anything as proven by Kings Lynn being the better side over 2 legs in the cup beating us fair and square Most , not all , Poole fans on here are awful losers …. Maybe these 2 matches have given them a reality check that the league isn’t a cakewalk The fact is they have been beaten over 2 legs by Workington … it doesn’t matter when in the season it is April or July they lost … Workington had their two top riders off form and their third heat leader missing Poole are the best side in the league but they can get complacent … no offence to Workington but if they can beat Poole over 2 legs then others certainly can4 points

Lawson guesting for the team that his own are trying to catch for 4th, speedway really doesn't help itself sometimes 🤦♂️3 points

Full marks to Drew Kemp, choosing club over country on Saturday night. He really has been a superb signing by Berwick.3 points

Spires have 3 Thursday meetings left ... and 3 Monday meetings. Would imagine Victor would turn up at least as much as Craig ?3 points

Did the ref actually check who was riding in the 4 jacket for Workington ?3 points

Well it's the next day after a great comets performance getting the bonus point off the once mighty pilots, comets top 4 push carries on , Redcar bears are in town on Saturday, hope it's a good safe meeting, one last thing on this thread has anyone sent out a search party and found @LisaColette🤔🙂 Comets won the bonus points if your late reading this 😁3 points

Just had a look on ebay cant see any rose tinted glasses poole fans wear, comets had 2 heat leaders riding rubbish ,1 missing and a poor reserve riding his old home track ,poole u lost over the 2 legs just get over it.take a bow mr bowes and jye, batch and antti give yourselves a kick up the backside .3 points

Ride of the night without a doubt with Ellis starting 15m back due to touching tapes and passing both Brummies to complete a 5-1 with Edwards. Full race below:2 points

Can anyone explain why Birmingham preferred to keep Hagon over Edwards?2 points

Comfortable win and Jason Edwards take a bow Hope all ok with Doyle and Dan isn’t fit either2 points

Fair play to Leicester, that's a good win and probably snuffs out our faint hopes. Will just have to make sure we win that cup 🏆2 points

Probably not but while its mathematically possible you dont give up. He's also guesting for the team that he'll be facing in the cup final next week. All a bit farcical.2 points

Maybe we need to make a double change? Obviously I’m aware there will probably not be a lot of options, but if Redcar lose tomorrow and then a tough match v Glasgow next week. The season is in danger of going tots up again!2 points

Saturday may be “poor planning” and a “guest fest” but I’m still going to pay my money and sit in the same seat I always do and watch live speedway. It’s not ideal it’s not even close to perfect. It’s what we’ve got. I’d rather be there and watch it than not. I could be way worse, we could all be Birmingham fans or one of the other many now gone clubs. But that’s a different discussion for a different thread. I’m looking forward to two exciting meetings.2 points

Very poor fixture Planning.Im sure that Event would be on FIM fixtures.Considering the make up of Tigers& Bandits it would have been obvious that certain riders would have been in contention for places( probably thought GB wouldn’t make Final).Takes the gloss of what is normally a looked forward too fixture from both sets of fans.Thats Speedway.2 points

The Riders have to ride tthe Bikes on the Tracks provided. The only Track that I can see that is fit for purpose is the NSS. The bikes are far too fast to race on Tracks more fitted to upright engines than these 'lay downs' that they ride these days. Yes, even JAPs were in my opinion safer. The top speeds on these bikes were fast enough for the Sport. To be honest, I thought the racing was better too. I know people will talk about progress - but - only when it benefits Speedway, but to my mind these four-valve never did. I know that I am getting on in years, and unable to attend, but to me Speedway has regressed, not progressed over the years since the 60's, and 70's. If there is a case to be made for too much progress - then this is it. Oh!!! I preferred the 'one off' World Final to the current day GP's too, though I doubt that will surprise anyone on here. To me, the 60's and early 70's were the Golden Age of Speedway.2 points

Allied sponsor Glasgow so you'd expect, f they were to use any influence at all, it would be to get Leon and Dan excused from going to France that well known hotbed of speedway finals.2 points

It is a great shame that Speedway hasn't. The Sport seems to be stuck in a time warp - except for the bikes, which are far too powerful these days.2 points

Gorzow announced that their final league programmed match vs Rybnik will be at 35 zloty = £7. Also any season ticket holders can bring a friend for free. They are trying everything to get fans back into the stadium as a push to stay in the league is necessary, with team building for next year very close to completion they need guarantees they are in Ekstraliga in 2026.2 points

Well good is better than your "OK" comment in you original post.. Was that the same Etheridge that ended up scoring 12 points? So after 3 heat wins, Etheridge passed him.. Kerr's return after he got passed was 3,3,3,2. Lawson won HT15, and Lewi finished last behind Etheridge(12 points) and Bowles (13 points). He beat both in the same meeting btw. Unlike yourself i wasn't there .It's about opinions, and mine is that your harsh on Kerr.2 points

Yes I know, we get the pathetic argument that all this European experience will make these riders better and benefit the club!!! Mulford scored zero in his last home match for Redcar and zero and withdrew from his last match for Redcar at Glasgow. The whole situation is a joke!2 points

No disrespect to any named rider on Saturday but a great example of broken British speedway2 points

Currently there are 17 teams across the Premier & Championship leagues. This will be reduced to 16 next year with the loss of Birmingham. So on the basis that all other clubs will run next year, for team of five 80 riders will be required Remove doubling up, riders contracted to Ekstraliga and Danish/Swedish nationals with contracts to race in their domestic leagues that clash with UK "race nights" simply means there will be insufficient availability of riders for sixteen teams - not counting loss of riders through injury. Given the above considerations and as well as ensuring "Juniors not good enough" are not unmercifully thrown into the deep end, there would be an available pool of riders next year to make up no more than 10 teams but more likely nine. So rather than just discuss the merits of one league, maybe the discussion should consider which eight or nine team would take part - and what admission price would be considered appropriate.2 points

Bowes has been superb since the break , he has been highly rated for some time so if Worky get him and Tate scoring like this consistently then they have a great core for the rest of the year and hopefully next season too.2 points

Foord is definitely not overhyped. On the heat that unfortunately ended up in the crash he was flying around the bends and had already passed Thomsen. He probably would've railed in Cairns aswell who was hugging the inside line. Good, young rider with plenty of years left to learn his trade. So far he's done exceptionally well for a reserve rider. Shame on you for slating a young lad. Also, are you certain you aren't a Poole fan because that was a lot of arse-licking for Poole there.2 points

Last season in the League Matches Oxford 45 (7) Poole 45 (2) Poole 41 Oxford 49 When it Mattered in the Playoff Final Oxford 51 Poole 39 Poole 56 Oxford 34 So dropping 1 bonus point is not really that important is it…..Last year Poole dropped 4 points out of 5 to Oxford….. Its what happens in the playoffs that matter!!2 points

But who won on aggregate ?? Just goes to show pilots are not as good as you fans think they are, if poor worky with a 5 man team and a couple of riders not scoring well, can win on aggregate 😁2 points
-
why shouldnt they, good for them to lose by four with batch vuolas and foord getting nine between them is pretty remarkable2 points
-
Kamikaze move that ended his night? Hope you’re referring to Thomsen there and not Vinnie.2 points

Bearing in mind we have some away vulnerability I am delighted with the bonus . I think the performance tonight from Fraser, Jye and Jacob deserves a lot of credit. For Fraser to score so well on his first visit to the home of the champions is great, take a bow Fraser.2 points

I would say he proved his point on Monday when he basically won the match for Oxford guesting (obviously magic done amazing as well)1 point

No! He must be travelling to France on a pushbike? While others competing in the same meeting can ride Friday and be Beemed up and get there for Saturday!!1 point

Couldn't see him making a return to a track full of ‘holes’ in the 3rd bend. Maybe could go to a perfectly prepared circuit like Armadale.1 point

Stop talking rubbish. Look at his scores this season, hardly ground breaking stuff is it? He he had been beaten by Starke and Cairns in his first heat, beat his team mate in his next then ended up crashing in his third. They are the facts, so no Workington weren't unlucky lose him especially when the other reserve is flying. And certainly no Poole fan, can't stand them. Used to like Shovlar's posts back in the day before they lost any comedy value. And he has openly spoke with a known, disgraced paedophile on social media who used to post on this forum. I admire Poole's winning history but I have absolutely no respect for the fans who post on here.1 point

Foord bitten a “huge” hole through his tongue according to Etheridge1 point

These guys are professionals. They will earn hundreds of pounds if they win Heat 15. A big hitter will be unhappy to be "rested" from the race in case he gets hurt.......1 point
