  1. I’m not discussing his body image.I’m sure he is “as fit as a flea” I was commenting on his height and build ,that is no way body shaming. You as speedway supporter have obviously heard the discussion with Woffy and Doyle regarding natural size and build of riders that they consider that might a disadvantage these day given the Technical Advances in the sport. Please don’t make things up just because you have a different opinion of my post.

  2. ... and then the illusion that these matches matter is shattered by Tom Brennan saying he didn't even know he was riding in a cup final until he arrived at the stadium... FFS!

  3. Sorry give the rides to an unattached rider

  4. There will be far too many passes too... It will get boring after the first ten or so...

  5. That must be to pay for the new multi million pound British Speedway tv contract!

  6. The problems usually mainly arise with rearranged rain offs etc. A massive amount of work has gone on between GB and Poland to try and coordinate things as much as possible so there are few clashes. Indeed Poland have had to cancel fixtures this week to allow for the Premiership KO Cup final on Thursday, so it does work both ways but nobody ever mentions that...

  10. I have no desire to see him in the UK again

  11. I think you're reading too much into it, it's clear that it's just another payday for him

  12. Slightly frustrating as a witches fan that Brennan rode so sh!t in the semi-final that Lynn got to the final then he rides amazing for Leicester and could win a trophy.

  13. I think it would make a massive difference. And for the better. I was a regular at lynn from 91-95 and the racing was always fantastic. But those were the days of loram Gustafson and Bobby ott

  14. Came for the last time, Aces win to be expected, dreadful racing.

  15. Kerr so soft on Howarth down the back straight there, if it was the other way round Kerr would’ve had to have shut off or he’d of been in with the crowd.

  16. Klindt far too soft on Fricke there, should have squeezed him right up and got Kvech through too. Leicester have been much more ruthless when needed.

  17. Big queue out to the road this evening (probably 200m). Delayed parade again. And, unfortunately, no online advance tickets.

  18. Oxford are an utter joke this year with Gusts and Knudsen. Ripping their own and others fans off all year with their select sides.

  19. No need for speculation if Scunthorpe want Luke back next season he will be there agree though that at some point he will have to go elsewhere

  20. The eight year old lad (forgotten his name) who was doing laps between the junior races looked better every time he came out. On his last set, he was attacking the corners as well as some of those in the junior races. Looked impressive for an 8 year old.

  22. The fact that people would readily believe it's true, shows the faith they have in Schroeck's management. If I had read that about Middlo or Pete Adams, I'd automatically think "it's a joke" so someone got the wrong end of the stick. I found this very easy to believe, based on the many daft decisions Schroeck's made over the last couple of years.

  23. Good to see a decent crowd turn out .Thought it was an entertaining meeting.

  24. I do. If Poole moved up he would be first name on teamsheet every time.

  26. It does take me ages to get away from OT... I have wrote to Sir Jim Ratcliffe and said that 70,000 every game is simply too much... And had he thought of reducing it to around 40,000 so I could get home quicker. . He didn't even answer my letter .. In fact, I have seen plans for a 100,000 seater stadium being built... They just don't listen do they?

  27. Ipswich tend to sign riders with ability but much more importantly have the right attitude and professionalism. jason has all of those in abundance.

  28. And to Ipswich's credit they snapped him up, one of the best reserves now. I like Jason Edwards talks a lot of sense.

  29. You can’t say this to Belle Vue fans they can’t accept it We all know Belle Vue is the best track in the country Many passes at Belle Vue are simply the home riders going out in the dirt and blasting round the outside … yes it’s fast it looks good but it isn’t skillful …..the best races (British final last race) will happen at Belle Vue because the track lends itself to great racing I diner need prefer the technical aspect and seeing top riders ride all the different tracks Watch on you tube Loram v Karlsson brothers at Monmore Green or Eastbourne v Poole in 1999 and tell me they aren’t fantastic races/meetings by world class riders who could ride all sorts of tracks not just ones that need fast bikes As much as I want Kurtz to win the world title I wonder if riders like him or even Zmarzlik would have ever coped with those tracks and not just the rocket ship big tracks abroad today I saw an interview with Todd Wiltshire and he said the most talented riders he had ever seen was Mark Loram Joe Screen and Andrew Silver around Arena Essex… Wiltshire said the skill levels were off the charts I expect Belle Vue to win by 14-16 and I hope there is some good racing …. Though I’m expecting race updates to read about ‘Witches make the start before (insert any Belle Vue rider) goes around them on bends 3-4”….. to me I prefer 2 riders battling and skill required for the overtake But yes the NSS is the best track gives the best racing …. But accept that other tracks do too

  30. Went for one last visit to Perry Barr before it shuts, Awful track, down to dusty base on inside & no grip out wide. Dan Bewley busting a gut up by the fence & losing ground!

  31. It's a dangerous game I wouldn't blame him one bit of he hung his kevlars up. He lost his edge a few years ago after that nasty crash in Scotland that would have rattled anyone

  32. No Klindt in heat 15 so Leicester can really make a statement now.

  33. Yes I think a Lynn win tonight but not by much, the good thing is no tacticals.

  36. I don't think we did really. Jason had a spell with us in 2023 and struggled with the track surface so I don't think either party would have been keen on another go. I think Luke and Jody have done ok. As for next year, if the RS system is still in force I'd have thought Cooper would be in the frame too.

  37. He has had a good career with Scunthorpe and Kings Lynn, always guests for Kings Lynn but he will admit he has been very poor this season and is overdue being released, it is only Scunthorpe who would have kept him this long.

  38. I'm no Peter Schroeck fan but, no, it's absolute nonsense. No idea who started that rumour, but it's been taken completely out of context. Richard Palmer was interviewing Freddy Hodder before the start of the meeting and thanked him for his good performance when guesting in the last home meeting against Leicester. Hodder simply replied with "I'm sorry I can't guest for you today" as a joke, and somebody has taken that as if he was asked to guest.

  39. Looks like they have priority on a Friday as well, with Poole missing Rowe last Friday, won't be long before it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

  40. That’s a shame if that’s the way his career is coming to an end. On his day, nigh on unbeatable. Wish him nothing but the best in whatever he does next.

  41. I think the answer to the car park issue is to restrict the number of cars parking at the stadium to ensure every one gets out in double quick time.
