He is using a local NL riders equipment only thing that’s different is he has had a drive belt system fitted to the bikes to keep them like his Danish bikes7 points

the subject of clubs not streaming is an interesting one ipswich sheffield and lynn also do not and that must be a business decision as much as anything away supporters paying to watch from afar is great but if a decent chunk of your regular punters do the same its not good for the club especially when glasgow and lynn own their stadia and make money from food amd drink4 points

I’ve pulled you up on this before and it’s been a while since you’ve regurgitated this nonsense. Right from the start of the season you seemed to take offence at every man and his dog tipping Ipswich to win comfortably and you wrongly labelled Ipswich supporters on here “arrogant”. You haven’t specifically said Ipswich fans this time in your post, but it’s obvious who you meant. The Ipswich supporters actually were the ones who were much more reserved about their chances because of the way they’ve been burned the past couple of years, it was supporters of other clubs that basically wrote the season off as Ipswich were going to clean house. When you argued against this, I asked you to quote these “arrogant Ipswich fans” posts, and surprise surprise you disappeared because said posts didn’t exist. Others joined you in sticking the boot in and it all became a bit bizarre. The usual suspects from Belle Vue joined the party, as did one or two of your fellow Leicester supporters, and unsurprisingly, one vociferous King’s Lynn supporter. None of them could back up the cr@p they were coming out with by actually pulling up the quotes they were all whinging about. The only ones that didn’t seem to pile in were anyone from Sheffield so for that reason, if Ipswich don’t manage to pull it off, I hope they do. One poster, @szkocjasid , was the one who asked the question, “can they win every meeting” after Ipswich were blowing everyone away early doors. He didn’t say they would to be fair to him, but he asked the question. I personally hope Ipswich win this and I hope others who don’t have a horse in the race do too. I’ve an awful lot of respect for the way Chris Louis runs his club. A proper speedway man and as it turns out, a very good and professional business man too. If others in the sport ran their clubs as professionally as Louis does his, we wouldn’t be in half the bloody mess we currently find ourselves in.4 points

Yes Nagel is the difference between Glasgow cleaning up everything or winning nothing. He is a serious talent, and have the same effect Tarasenko had for Glasgow a couple of seasons ago. The forecast is dodgy in the extreme for Glasgow tomorrow and I would imagine the Glasgow promotion are itching to press the ‘meeting off button’, knowing full well they will be dominant with Nagel back when it’s run. The travelling Poole fans are either very brave and determined or foolhardy! But due to the Glasgow promotions insistence of not providing any other way of watching the match, they are left with no alternative. Well done to them.3 points

Kelvin is a likeable muppet, but there are several (some arrogant) posts on Ipswich related threads, going back several months, implying that the Witches were untouchable if they stayed injury free (not necessarily saying they would win every meeting). Well, they now have their full strength team for the business end of the season but there are quite a few recent twitchy posts on this forum. I obviously would love the Lions to take the honours, but anything can happen. If Ipswich conquer all, I will have no problem with that, but I think that with all the hype over the Witches team, they will be be under serious pressure to deliver. Like some posters have said, if they don't win the league with this year's septet, when will they win it?3 points

Lets hope not the old boy must be super successful in his other business but he's blind when it comes to speedway I can hear the conversation now Stadium owner "Hi Nigel we have no speedway heritage the existing speedway clubs can't get an extra hundred new people in per season, you will need to find a thousand die hard regulars from the get go, Expect to drop a minimum of 100k per season, the track will be super narrow once the air fence is added and won't be conducive to good racing" Nigel after a one second pause "i'm in"2 points

Definitely has that feel of “we’re going to get battered here” doesn’t it. Only area of the team we SHOULD have the upper hand is reserve and that simply MUST happen because we’ll be second best everywhere else. Ellis needs to step up here big time and needs to do better down there than he did on Thursday. Hope I’m wrong but I’m with you on the score, 16-20. That performance Thursday was an absolute stinker and all the confidence I had has drained away because of that one result. Dan concerns me in the engine room of the side also.2 points

I think it will be the same again with a few minor changes and the Premiership trying to get a couple of teams to move up.2 points

What is this problem that some people have with Simon lambert? Simon is still a very good rider and still a big influence in the pits with his wealth of experience and still gives 100% on the track. He has,and still is,a loyal servant to the club,a rider who gives 100% regardless who he rides for so instead of getting on his back,be grateful for a rider who bleeds Scunthorpe scorpions!2 points

Bowtell could still have gotten 7 rides while being taken out of a heat. So replacing him in 12 isn't particularly bad. But not giving him an extra ride in another heat is where the fault lies. If the TM didn't think he could find enough heats for Bowtell to get 7 rides, then could've dropped Lambert in 12 instead.1 point

Regarding the quotes of “if this fails, Speedway is over, and it will never return,” they were an unusual statement to make on a local BBC news report by someone who was supposed to be advocating for the proposed development. However, given the negative tone and the fact that the individual was not particularly enthusiastic about the project, it is understandable why you perceive this as a token gesture. Of course, knowing Osbourne, it is a very fair observation. Nevertheless, the negative responses from the local residents of Wootton Bassett appear to be genuine when considering their misinformed comments about Speedway. Additionally, there are numerous applications for house building in their area, so it is likely that they are also concerned about the potential impact of the Speedway stadium. In conclusion, the speedway public at large should register their support using the link posted above. This initiative primarily aims to secure the Abbey Stadium and prevent any further permissions until the fate of the Studley facilities is determined.1 point

Perhaps Glasgow could ask Andy and his crew if they would do it. They do a tremendous job at Poole and Plymouth. Might be worth it as a one off.1 point

is a long way on coach it was a flix bus, seats quite comfortable, more comfy than a plane, Manchester to Victoria not bad, 1.5 hrs wait then Victoria to dover, your off coach for 2hrs, long one was Calais to berlin, but did stop to pick other people up and drop off, a couple of times, so you could jump off for 2 mins stretch your legs, changed coaches at berlin with 1.5 hrs wait for next bus to Poznan, lets say its better than going to work,,😁, cost £115, going £94. back.1 point

touts were asking for 100 euros, and some wanted 400 zlotys, didn't want to pay that. i was stood near where the moto x lads were doing jumps back flips, this was after they had finished , the racing had stared i was watching on my phone ,problem it was 60 seconds behind what i could here in stadium, tried to blag my way in at one of the turn styles where 2 people were stood, they said try that window round the corner, there was a woman sat at the window asked her she said no tickets left, then a guy behind her said hang on a minute, lets have a look on computer screen, said your lucky one left, 240 zlotys, was on first bend about 3 rows up on a end seat. mental could not believe it.1 point

Not many teams ever get put together where you have quite probably one of the best two riders for that position in the league... The top two are both genuinely World Class... Brennan is a perfect third HL level rider, not quite good enough to be a one or five yet consistently, but ideal at Number Three... Both King and Ellis can be very inconsistent as a 3rd HL, but, again, perfect top level second strings when matched against all the other twos and fours... And, in Dan T, they almost had a cheat code at reserve given his development this season... Add in the RS was the best available, (shouldn't he have gone to Brum under the rules?), and you had a team well above the team limit by brilliantly using UK talent in the main... A huge advantage in team building versus the other three in the play offs, (especially when Woffy got injured), so it means all the pressure is on them to deliver now over the next few matches... If they all click then, statistically, they win comfortably., however, they won't possibly ever get a chance to put such a team together again, so, that in itself, will bring some added pressure to deliver the trophy.1 point

Glasgow won't pull it back with that team. No Villads, no win.1 point

Very iffy. Could go either way. Currently looking like rain from midday.1 point

Certainly woukdnt be all over even with that sort of lead Equally if it's 10 or less it's still game on too I think these plays offs are the most open for a while both in the semis and the final regardless of the combination of qualifiers1 point

I've lost all confidence in the Witches side as of late, Haven't been right since the night they lost to a King's Lynn side that featured Simon Lambert in the 1-5. If Adam Ellis continues his recent dire showings around the NSS and Brady Kurtz remains professional instead of thinking about the GP in Vojens then Belle Vue could build up a very healthy lead.1 point

1. Leagues to be run on the Danish system of 5 rider teams with maximum of 1 GP rider per team. 2. Each team to name a squad of 6/7 riders. 3. Teams to run on their preferred night and if rider/riders are unavailable, National League riders to be drafted in. 3a. No guests under any circumstances, redeclarations allowed once per month. 4. North League; Belle Vue, Sheffield, Berwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Redcar and Workington. South League: Poole, Ipswich, Kings Lynn, Leicester, Oxford, Plymouth and Scunthorpe. 5. Teams having National League teams to stage meetings after main meeting with same format as Danish system. 6. Teams not having National League teams to stage second half with minimum of 6 heats. 7. North and South winners and second places to meet in semi finals and final. 8. League cup to consist of all teams and drawn in first round with 1 from North and 1 from South. Overall winners of each match through to quarter final with team losing with highest aggregate score to go through also. This is all fantasy, but something needs to be done now. Everyone to look at the big brighter future and get over themselves.1 point

unfortunately they may just have to put up with it, i would say thats one of the reasons the sport in this country is the state its in, bowing down to the riders for too long.1 point
