  1. If you ride for Poole, you give everything, its what we expect.

  2. Called it. Bin Cami Brown. Bin Kyle Howarth. Bin Max Perry. Actually, bin the whole top heavy team building approach. Bin these riders like Nagel who are taking the utter p**s out of the club. Well done Poole. That’s a champion’s performance. Listening to Brown is painful. Unlucky? Poole didn’t have Lawson and lost Kerr. Palm Toft tried? Honestly, be quiet. You gave it big licks to Neil Middleditch in the media and you’ve ended up with egg on your face. I hope Freddie Hodder or someone who knows him reads this because that young man gave it tonight and exceeded anything that was remotely expected of him. He looked scunnered there, but you should hang your head high, young man.

  3. I take it as it is a non Speedway injury there will be a 7 day ban for Richard

  4. I think the weather probably helped with the racing last night too. While meetings later in the season can mean wet and cold tracks it can also help get a bit more moisture in the base, the surface was pretty much perfect last night for most of the meeting with enough grip for those who wanted to use it. Wasn't slick and dusty and the racing reflected that. Really looking forward to the two legs of the final, hopefully both sides are at full strength amd the dreaded guests can be avoided.

  5. There is a difference between being over the top on here and how one would act at a track in person, I suspect most who like to banter on here are actually pretty decent people at heart, and the ones who act badly at a track, are probably not even on here.

  6. Thank you Glasgow promotion for listening to the fans unable to travel/work commitments. The stream has been great.

  8. Harry Reddknapp has secured some major financial backing to provide a 8 team top flight along the lines of Poland while the championship also benefits from a major cash injection with Mildenhall, Northampton, Eastbourne & a couple of other returning sides join the remaining 2025 championship teams making up an excellent 12 team Championship. Or more likely the leagues are merging while admission prices are going up meaning supporters being asked to pay more for less once more. I hope I’m wrong but experience tells me not to expect to much other than shuffling the pieces & weakling the product.

  9. One "top league" with some rider control to ensure all competitive, (and guest free)... (Five riders per team if that is the only way of delivering it) And sell that to the wider media... And one "2nd tier" for those who cannot keep paying out money that they cannot sustain, but can be very, very useful in developing a conveyor belt of talent, whilst putting on an entertaining. night out for their punters, on a night their punters want to attend .. (In the 2nd tier using all the current make it up as you go along rules if needs be).. Sharing around the likes of Kurtz, Bewley, Doyle and Sayfutdinov, J and C Holder, and Max (and maybe others who wish to join in), would be a tremendous starter for ten for the top tier... Who knows, run the "flagship top tier" with credibility, so no Mickey Mouse rules, and you may get some sponsors from outside the speedway bubble who see it as a positive to their overall business model... Let's hope those in charge can see further than the end of their own nose.... What "is" clearly doesn't work, so let's hope and pray that the custodians of our sport can stop the current race to the bottom and innovatively grasp the opportunities that exist .

  12. Stead and Picko still commenting about last week as if it has lost them the meeting is slightly on the side of sore losers. -Holder touched the tapes and got excluded - Sheffield fault -Flint laying the bike down and getting and Fricke excluded - Sheffield fault and they gained from it -Heat 13 / 15 Sheffield just outdone by better riders. - Sheffield fault -Heat 14 moaning about 5-0 and unjust but fail to mention Nick Morris crashed on his own (so highly chance they would have been 5-1 down anyway) - Sheffield fault. -Luke Becker’s chain broke on a 5-1 which would have finished the meeting earlier than best 15. If Sheffield would have won, I don’t believe Leicester would have be so sour even though they are just as unjustly done. Sometimes just admit your riders weren’t as good as your opponents and move on. I can see the sourness and bitterness turning into an absolute tear up and potential for fireworks (not the good kind) on Thursday. I also expect someone to come out of that meeting injured. Flint scoring 0 probably had something to do with them losing but that hasn’t been mentioned.

  15. Captains job, pulled up his big boy pants, puffed his chest out and spoke to the cameras despite clearly wanting to scream and shout and break things out the back in frustration at getting so close and falling short. you’d think the team manager would/should want to stand up and be counted on camera praising the efforts of his lads and telling the fans in the stadium and at home how proud he is of his team - obviously not made of the same stuff as picko

  16. But as has been pointed out every time you mention it, other people have experienced exactly the same at other tracks. It's not just a Sheffield thing - every team has dick heads !!

  17. And people on here have been critical of my moaning about him and Kerr (to a lesser extent). Mobile chicane with nothing left to give. Should have retired a few seasons ago but guess it’s in his blood. A terrible choice for a team spot sorry to say.

  18. Jonus will be sought after next season.Great effort from him tonight and been great for the Bandits. Berwick will be hoping too hold on to him but feel it will be difficult.

  19. Full commitment Jeppersen. Proper guest rider. Glad he’s up and ok. Also proper Captains performance tonight from Zack Cook.

  22. Have I just paid £250 for a BSN season pass, been told they’re not covering the KO Cup semi-final, so paid Glasgow £12.99 for what is nothing more than a BSN production with red packaging? Honestly, f*ck this sport.

  23. Call me an old cynic but "exciting new era" sounds very much like a "5 year plan" to me and look what happened to the last "new era" that WBD brought us! I do hope I'm wrong but there has been no change in the personnel in charge and they've proven themselves over the years to be devoid of any ideas to revive the sport.

  28. belle vue not even involved yet the usual suspects got to bring them up, so obsessed 😤 were out, we was shocking, we got over it, maybe some other people need to also. we will be back next year for sure, lessons learnt hopefully. good luck both teams in final

  29. Forgive my ignorance but why would fuel testing put somebody off riding? Wouldn't anyone potentially cheating just change their fuel with that kind of notice?

  30. It's just the Ipswich fans can't wait to have a dig at Stead, completely forgetting their own manager comes across as a whining man baby when they aren't winning, and has been known to 'go missing' after a loss on TV.

  31. Great opportunity for Jeppesen, no reason why he cant score well. Lawson is a miss, he is the best rider in the league imo.

  32. Steady DID do an interview last night. It's just been posted on the Official British Speedway social channels. Patience...or an apology to Steady! 😜

  33. With the greatest of respect, Steady had done plenty of interviews during the meeting on the TNT coverage. It's also the captain's responsibility to be interviewed as well.

  34. Last night was my 58th meeting of the season. I have been to all Premiership and Championship tracks at least once. Fifth time at Leicester this season (4 prem, 1 NDL) and I have to say its a very enjoyable experience, decent racing, which the track very rarely gets the credit for, decent views all around the stadium and nice staff. Well done Leicester in making the final and well done to the track curator for another good nights racing.

  35. well done leicester on getting to final. speedway was the winner over the 2 legs, superb speedway on thursday and last night

  36. Sheffield will no doubt have a comment to make after Thursday, I’m sure they will beat us in the remaining league matches thus making the play offs another shambles. They then should have faced Belle Vue and Ipswich vs Leicester would have been tonight. The comments about “this is play off speedway” but nobody mentions two years in the row it’s been chosen and not finished on track?

  37. Just like Flint getting Fricke excluded. Karma always returns the favour!

  38. That was probably the best meeting I’ve seen live in the last two seasons. Congratulations to Leicester (and Ipswich) on reaching the final. Be good for the sport to have a new name on the trophy for a change!

  39. Like AceBelle and Ouch from your lot you mean? Giving it the biggun all year long and then nowhere to be seen when Belle Vue have their @rses handed to them.

  44. I have to say I agree about the enjoyable experience and nice staff. They have been very welcoming to the many Panthers fans who are on loan to them currently. 😉 Last night they even did a stadium announcement about the Panthers fixture at Mildenhall on 25/10 they didn’t have to do that. I’ve been there about eight times this season and yes, it’s a bit jumpers for goalposts, but I quite like that. Kudos also to the Leicester supporters club, very well organised and no one can say they are not top of the league for their 50/50 draw, £615 prize last night and £850 prize the week before, shame I happened to win it earlier in the season when it was a measly £364! 😂
