First time watching Pirates TV…bloody hell, I’ve never heard such a biased commentary in a LONG time!! 🤣 Not even a hint of impartiality!! 🤣6 points

Ok Leon you know what you have to do anything less than 3 points is job done. I am sure Gerry will make up the shortfall, any questions asked about your performance just say you had a burger for lunch and it must have been dodgy.4 points

I've come up with a brilliant idea, that nobody has thought of... don't call it the Knock Out Cup!4 points

Did you post that with a straight face Lewy? Hmm, maybe we should do what the Plymouth comms do and scream down the microphone when they are winning lol. Can't wait for that tomorrow lmao. Everyone is biased on their own stream, lord give me strength. Are you 5 years old?3 points
-
Yeah, this is painful. There’s natural bias, but this is childish. My new season enthusiasm got the better of me and I purchased this. The only excitement has been the incidents. The rain off at Armadale is more exciting than this. New season, same rubbish.3 points

Not sure why anyone would think something called Pirates TV would be anything other than one eyed.2 points

And they still haven’t realised Spencer was in for Klima in Heat 9. They are still banging on about how he won’t have enough rides.2 points

For what it is worth, I think that Poland has far too much influence in British Speedway. 🤬 They should not dictate to riders and Clubs over here. 🤬 Let them run their own Sport, and keep their collective noses out of other people's business. 🤬2 points
-
Its not the clubs fault its down to the rider who signs for a polish club knowing full well they will miss matches in his home country time to tell poland to do one show some backbone.2 points

There’s been a lot less rain in Berwick today than originally forecast fingers crossed it’s the same tomorrow.2 points

As it turned out it was gate 1 and gate 4 to some extent that turned out to be difficult. My perennial complaint is why don't the track staff fix it? Back in the day we had a man or men with rakes on the start line that would fix any obvious problems. Oh I know that there was always accusations of doctoring the gates for the next race in favour of the home team. But if one gate was deep or slick, at least with some attention this could be improved. Uneven gates are annoying especially in key heats (13,15 and especially any super heat).2 points

I was going to use Horace Goes Flying as the title... but couldn't think of a name rhyming with Horace 😂2 points

Belle Vue fans won't need to worry about what it's called soon anyway. By the end of the Easter weekend they will be concentrating on the league. 😉2 points

It really is just a joke sport. Will Flint help Monarchs eliminate Tigers or vice versa.2 points

Edinburgh will easily finish Top 4 well balanced team. After watching Dan last Saturday he looks like he will go up another level our loss is Edinburgh’s gain. I am away for a lie down now after that prediction2 points

I guess it was pretty full. I was looking forward to going, but we were running a bit late. We got to the stadium about 5:30 only to find that the carpark was already full, and still a big queue of cars behind us trying to get in. We went home, which is probably just as well. I don't think my grandson would have had the patience to sit through the delay. Hope Tobi is okay, that's the main thing. Top guy who always engaged with the fans.1 point

Think it’s a great idea. Other clubs don’t give the opposition the opportunity to feel the track. About time we did the same.1 point

Couldn't argee more! These guys give people a chance to watch the meeting who aren't able to attend give them a break!1 point

Yes, I believe that is right, but where the money is coming from now, who knows?Courtney registered Oxford Speedway Ltd in January this year, so maybe he has another income source. I also heard a rumour that he has been asked to cover the lease until October at £20,000 a month. How true that is…1 point

More like Lord Lemon, Captain Buster and Fabulous Phil! And hats off to them and any others involved in the venture. Leicester's existence today owes much to Chapman's rescue act after the Hemsley train-crash when he cleared the debts so that Bates and Machin could come in and take over a cleaned-up mess. Lemon's may be the only name appearing on the Companies House records as Director of NS Ltd, but i'd bet Chapman and Morris are "ipso facto" directors and raised the money to fund the setting up and initial operating costs. They'll be looking to sell asap, get their money back, and exit stage left. The Promoters are in place to fulfil requirements of SCB/ACU and when new owners and directors of NS Ltd take over (whenever that is, but probably soon as possible after the season starts), they'll either disappear back off and be replaced, but more likely stay to provide continuity.1 point

You do realise Poland have priority at the weekend. Nothing anyone can do especially when it was agreed by everyone.1 point

It’s the 5-point riders that often struggle to find a spot. Too high to be a reserve, too low to be a sure bet. They’re the ones that get squeezed for the final spots.1 point

Obviously, just bored this morning deciding what petrol station that has the nicest view whilst I wait 3 hours for diesel. So thought I would give my first insightful posts on this season.1 point

I particularly like Brett’s prediction it gives you the feel good factor seeing it. Should get him to predict a Hibs relegation next season as well if his prediction here comes up.1 point

I suspect the first few meetings will be busy due to the novelty factor, but yes it could go south rapidly. History tells us that new or newish teams are usually in fire fighting territory early on. For example Milton Keynes 1990, Skegness 1998.1 point

As things slowly emerge, for me they seem to confirm the "consortium" are looking to sell it on asap after the start and recoup their financial outlay. Possibly already is a party waiting in the wings. Hence minimal marketing and promotion, likewise budget team. As for the bizarre choice of Foxes for the team name, maybe Harry Redknapp has worked his contacts book a bit more by lining up Samantha Fox to front-up the "grand opening" on the 30th, perhaps with Linda Lusardi making it a twosome (or foursome)1 point

The Hokey Cokey Cup... Missed a trick there didn't they?1 point

It is bizarre and the huge amounts of grift in the open doesn't even try to hide it but again no one seems fussed or their to scared if they try and stop him some of the crazy militia that support him will turn up at their home with guns.1 point

I have downloaded it on my iPhone, sky box and Apple TV box today. basically it is a replatformed sports element from discovery + platform. Looks like a lift and shift of content. you have to continue paying for tnt sports with your existing subscription provider. For me that is BT / EEtv.1 point
