He's done his time and that should be the end of it. Garrity was a talented rider and thrilling to watch. I'd have no problem with him racing for the Foxes. If racing helps him stay on the straight and narrow, everybody benefits.4 points

They can’t drop Tom to number 3, the highest average rider has to ride at number 13 points

Hard to pick between them at the moment. Both destined for the top of the sport. Cairns more a Robert lambert type of rider while Rushen more a Loram. It’s great to see and both riding for the same team only pushes them on to beat each other and the opposition. Be interesting to see who has the better career. At the moment they are both extremely raw.3 points

Tom B has made most of his progress riding at No3, protected by two exceptional one and fives, at BV and Ipswich, who went head to head against their opposite numbers several times per meeting, and, invariably, heat fifteen... The fact they remained one and five shows their top level capability... Tom was very honest post the GB GP's as to where is he, and that is a long way off the level of a No1, even in a depleted league... No 1's of Kurtz, Fricke, J Holder and Lidsey, are Polish top tier HL's, so, no idea why anyone would consider Tom to be of that level.. Especially considering he even is struggling to hold down a Polish tier two position..2 points

That’s already two home defeats and that’s tough to come back from. Ipswich have a crap side this year as shown tonight, but our Foxhall form will probably see us fourth by default although we’ll only be there to make up the numbers.2 points

Tom to 3 and Lawson to 1? Just like that? How long you been following speedway?2 points

I do wish BSN would show an updated league table after the meeting, surely it can't be that difficult 🤷♂️ Instead we have to listen to the work experience girl.2 points

Much better meeting than the bore fest last week at Oxford. I like Paco, but hes not a premiership second string.2 points

Interesting to hear Dan Thompson saying that he wanted to keep Jan Kvech guessing where he was going to ride while in front of heat 7... then followed up by an interview with Kvech saying he didn't know where Dan was going to ride 👍🏻2 points

Buster must have missed the forecast or it changed late in the day otherwise this would have been called off.2 points

Agreed I do think to be a multiple world champion you need to avoid to many big knocks, Hancock other than that one where he ended up with his arm in another riders mudguard (which was horrific) has mostly stayed out of trouble. Hans Nielson didn't have to many bad knocks either but as you say Doyley and Freddie although awesome riders have had some pretty bad knocks over the years, sadly Tai who generally stayed out of trouble has had a torrid time last three years also. And as you say older you get the more these knocks must start to catch up mentally and physically, Chris Holder another example.2 points

Yes, being only 15 points up with one heat to go, Glasgow needed Leon? Do you not think that heat 15 line ups come after discussion between eligible riders and the manager? Cami manages the team to a resounding victory - and the second away win in 48 hours - and still you feel the need to criticise him?2 points

Try to say the same thing in Polish...then somebody will (no doubt) take the mickey out of you. English, or should I say British riders, riding in the Polish Leagues are paid enormous sums of money and yet cannot utter a word in Polish.. and I think they should out of respect to their employers !2 points

Blimey! You can't shut him up when he gets going... think i preferred it when all he said was "I'm big happy" 😂2 points

.Congrats to all concerned in getting the Meeting On a remarkable effort under extreme circumstances.Well Done.It was a decent meeting.2 points

I thought Dan was brilliant tonight and showed great track craft keeping Fricke and Kvech at bay when they were on his tail. A fit Max Fricke would no doubt have swung this in favour of Lynn but you would expect the rest of the team to be able to cover better for your No.1 at home. Dickson will be pleased to get the win but he will have been frustrated with the number of times the Lions gated and got to the first bend only to be passed exiting the second bend.1 point

Mayfields are running a tight ship and it was mentioned before Doyle wouldn't be in their budget, their penny pinching and saving every penny they can cost cutting the GP series by all accounts.1 point

We have an issue at reserve and it’s going to have to be looked at it’s as simple as that. With the way we built, it was meant to be our strong point but Bangs just hasn’t worked out I’m afraid. Not reading in to any of the others today, we know they don’t go well here but this was supposed to Bangs’ strongest track and he’s stunk here twice now, along with everywhere else.1 point

The track looked almost unrideable after so little rain, but to be fair it looked unrideable for the stars riders even before the rain. You can see why they cancel it at the first sight of a cloud on the radar 😉1 point

Should have been cash/card on the day at all times, pre applying for a ticket is bonkers and the older speedway fans don't do or won't do online stuff1 point

Watching it from the stands I could not believe it went ahead and produced good racing, the drainage is so good on the track and hats off to the track staff. The racing this year has been the best its ever been imo, well done Phil Morris. Looked like he was going to have a heart attack when the electrics went, he owes that electrician a pat on the back, green flag starts are a joke.1 point

Poole have definitely got a better guest for Lawson than Berwick have for Kildemand Can see Poole winning this by 20 Etheridge and Jenkins got 1 between them last time at Poole and Palovaara got 8 from 6 Should be a walk in the park1 point

Gollob would have been my original choice but I think that Bart Zmarzlik has taken passing to different level ,a perfect example of the pupil exceeding the teacher in both ability and achievements .1 point

I’m not surprised. I struggle to find any form of advertising for the meetings or for that matter, news of the result/scorers from recent matches either. The club does not seem to have their own website anymore. I do not have Facebook, Twitter or any of the other social media sources and having visited the NORA website (NORA92) there is absolutely no mention there. If Mildenhall want to survive and hopefully thrive , then surely a little effort in promoting upcoming events would be an advantage1 point

From what have heard it’s a bit more than a straightforward broken arm that was quite a mess with damage to muscles and tendons and will take quite a bit of sorting out. Delay in surgery is waiting for the specialist to arrive from another area of Poland . Hopefully get more positive update after the procedure has been completed but will be out most of the season now1 point

Need to be honest here, Jenkins was having a terrible time at Redcar averaging 3.52 (4.48). For a rider signed on a 6+ average, even Jenkins's biggest fans would have to admit it was a disastrous start to the season. Had he been showing his Berwick form, he'd be a heat leader & not dropped. There was always a chance he would find form at reserve, but he wouldn't have dropped down in June, could Redcar afford to wait another month? I wouldn't have preferred Lambert to Jenkins pre-season, but at the time of the change can understand the move. I don't think Lambert is scoring any less for Redcar than Jenkins was.1 point

How can you say it was a decent meeting when Laguta wasn't riding. Are you a FIM puppet?1 point

Olly Allen did not fancy the chances of Zmarzlik the 6 time world champion off statistically the best gate all night. Allen and Tatum share half a brain cell between them and we are held hostage to listen to their drivel every GP night.1 point

The reason Drew didn't resign for Berwick was the logistics involved with us being a Saturday track, he had at the time basically said he wouldn't be riding Championship.1 point

Not really, there was some close racing last night, but only 1 real pass of note that I can remember from Anders Rowe1 point
