He's done his time and that should be the end of it. Garrity was a talented rider and thrilling to watch. I'd have no problem with him racing for the Foxes. If racing helps him stay on the straight and narrow, everybody benefits.4 points

They canβt drop Tom to number 3, the highest average rider has to ride at number 13 points

Hard to pick between them at the moment. Both destined for the top of the sport. Cairns more a Robert lambert type of rider while Rushen more a Loram. Itβs great to see and both riding for the same team only pushes them on to beat each other and the opposition. Be interesting to see who has the better career. At the moment they are both extremely raw.3 points

Tom B has made most of his progress riding at No3, protected by two exceptional one and fives, at BV and Ipswich, who went head to head against their opposite numbers several times per meeting, and, invariably, heat fifteen... The fact they remained one and five shows their top level capability... Tom was very honest post the GB GP's as to where is he, and that is a long way off the level of a No1, even in a depleted league... No 1's of Kurtz, Fricke, J Holder and Lidsey, are Polish top tier HL's, so, no idea why anyone would consider Tom to be of that level.. Especially considering he even is struggling to hold down a Polish tier two position..2 points

Thatβs already two home defeats and thatβs tough to come back from. Ipswich have a crap side this year as shown tonight, but our Foxhall form will probably see us fourth by default although weβll only be there to make up the numbers.2 points

Tom to 3 and Lawson to 1? Just like that? How long you been following speedway?2 points

I do wish BSN would show an updated league table after the meeting, surely it can't be that difficult π€·ββοΈ Instead we have to listen to the work experience girl.2 points

Much better meeting than the bore fest last week at Oxford. I like Paco, but hes not a premiership second string.2 points

Interesting to hear Dan Thompson saying that he wanted to keep Jan Kvech guessing where he was going to ride while in front of heat 7... then followed up by an interview with Kvech saying he didn't know where Dan was going to ride ππ»2 points

Agreed I do think to be a multiple world champion you need to avoid to many big knocks, Hancock other than that one where he ended up with his arm in another riders mudguard (which was horrific) has mostly stayed out of trouble. Hans Nielson didn't have to many bad knocks either but as you say Doyley and Freddie although awesome riders have had some pretty bad knocks over the years, sadly Tai who generally stayed out of trouble has had a torrid time last three years also. And as you say older you get the more these knocks must start to catch up mentally and physically, Chris Holder another example.2 points

Yes, being only 15 points up with one heat to go, Glasgow needed Leon? Do you not think that heat 15 line ups come after discussion between eligible riders and the manager? Cami manages the team to a resounding victory - and the second away win in 48 hours - and still you feel the need to criticise him?2 points

Try to say the same thing in Polish...then somebody will (no doubt) take the mickey out of you. English, or should I say British riders, riding in the Polish Leagues are paid enormous sums of money and yet cannot utter a word in Polish.. and I think they should out of respect to their employers !2 points

Blimey! You can't shut him up when he gets going... think i preferred it when all he said was "I'm big happy" π2 points

The track looked almost unrideable after so little rain, but to be fair it looked unrideable for the stars riders even before the rain. You can see why they cancel it at the first sight of a cloud on the radar π1 point

Should have been cash/card on the day at all times, pre applying for a ticket is bonkers and the older speedway fans don't do or won't do online stuff1 point

the team limit is simply set too high this year, cant really blame kings lynn for wanting to strengthen up, but still miles behind some teams in the league this year.1 point

Forecast is giving 37C on Wednesday. Seriously too hot. And itβs only June. Track staff will have a thankless tast getting water down in the track. Be drying out ten minutes after they flood it.1 point

So, a pretty impressive performance from Garrity on a track that's tricky and not as well prepared as it used to be when he rode last. Won the pairs meeting with Will Boraston, scoring 14 out of 15 and only dropping 1 point to Alfie Bowtell. Is he NDL eligible? Where would he fit in the Buxton team? Can they get him in for the next meeting? Would imagine a few Championship promoters will be interested if he rides like that on his first meeting back1 point

I think it's safe to say I am far from the biggest Jack Holder fan but best wishes for a speedway recovery Another sickening crash in a very much unwanted long list in 20261 point

From what have heard itβs a bit more than a straightforward broken arm that was quite a mess with damage to muscles and tendons and will take quite a bit of sorting out. Delay in surgery is waiting for the specialist to arrive from another area of Poland . Hopefully get more positive update after the procedure has been completed but will be out most of the season now1 point

Need to be honest here, Jenkins was having a terrible time at Redcar averaging 3.52 (4.48). For a rider signed on a 6+ average, even Jenkins's biggest fans would have to admit it was a disastrous start to the season. Had he been showing his Berwick form, he'd be a heat leader & not dropped. There was always a chance he would find form at reserve, but he wouldn't have dropped down in June, could Redcar afford to wait another month? I wouldn't have preferred Lambert to Jenkins pre-season, but at the time of the change can understand the move. I don't think Lambert is scoring any less for Redcar than Jenkins was.1 point

As someone who regularly attends Oxford but no allegiance (my past supported clubs closed) the track has been disappointing this season and will impact my decision in whether I will attend future meetings. I won't stop going, but may attend less as it's a fair way to go to watch 4 riders going around in dust with no racing.1 point
