  1. I don't think people are bothered about a speedway rider/ sportsman changing their nationality necessarily, but they absolutely should not be able to represent their 'new' nation in a senior event if they have already done so for their original country (a la football).
  2. Line up: 1 Cooper Rushen 2 Jason Garrad 3 Kai Ward 4 Kenzie Cossey 5 Ben Trigger 6 Dylan Huthwaite 7 Will Cairns 8 Ollie Binns 9 Jack Smith 10 James Shanes 11 Ryan Ingram 12 Darryl Ritchings 13 Ben Morley 14 Sam Woods 15 Dayle Wood 16 Jordy Loftus
  3. Same way you can top a league table and not win the title I guess.
  4. No idea why anybody (let alone a sponsor of a club) would see fit to laugh at a promising young rider for having an injury-affected bad night anyway. Weird.
  5. I think we all need to remember why we watch sport, and thats to enjoy it, enjoy the really good moments as they don't come round very often. Beating your local rivals in the 30th heat of a semi final should absolutely be savoured. The riders will know that they need to go again with that same intensity of the final. If that doesn't go to plan and they'd held back on the good feeling of the semi final then its celebrations wasted. I'd never criticise any team for celebrating any win in any sport, as long as opposition fans aren't being goaded. Enjoy the smooth as there's plenty of rough which isn't as much fun.
  6. Same situation, they won't give two WC's to Danes with two in already, Michelsen more deserving for me.
  7. Can't see them giving two Aussie WC's with two in the series already but you never know. Personally I'd go Fricke over Doyle but that's personal preference, you can make a strong case for either.
  8. Difference is the vast majority of meetings at BV are very good. Pretty much all of the other Prem tracks provide a really good spectacle once in a while.
  9. Not this season, and not once has he shook Rob Lyon's hand (Chris Louis did every time). Poor.
  10. Forgive my ignorance but why would fuel testing put somebody off riding? Wouldn't anyone potentially cheating just change their fuel with that kind of notice?
  11. I think the weather probably helped with the racing last night too. While meetings later in the season can mean wet and cold tracks it can also help get a bit more moisture in the base, the surface was pretty much perfect last night for most of the meeting with enough grip for those who wanted to use it. Wasn't slick and dusty and the racing reflected that. Really looking forward to the two legs of the final, hopefully both sides are at full strength amd the dreaded guests can be avoided.
  12. Whatever happens in heat 15, well done Sheffield for a great performance against the odds.
  13. Fricke never looked quick enough there, great ride from Holder. Really good meeting so far, glad I left the curtains/blinds open!
  14. This should be a very comfortable aggregate victory for Leicester but its Play Off speedway so you never know. An Ippo v Leic final has the potential to be very close indeed.
