I suspect Lawson, Kerr, Rowe, Cairns & Rushen are locked in and they wanted Bowes & Bailey to join them but one of them have foreign commitments which means it cant happen. Not sure which, probably Bailey with his Wednesday stuff in Denmark.

Speedway Updates is dying a slow death unfortunately and for the first time that I can remember they weren't able to cover every meeting last year due to a lack of volunteers. I feel something more modern is needed for speedway fans, an app along similar lines to the Polish one would be ideal.

Like that team a lot. Really needs Edwards or Jenkins to break through though and take their careers to the next level with no King.

A few weeks ago he posted on his Facebook page that he was looking for a Premiership team spot for 2026. Assuming that means that Lynn have told him that he isn't part of their plans then I think that must mean they are targeting a genuine number one as I can't think of any other reason why he wouldn't be coming back as he was excellent last season. I suspect he is a victim of the numbers game.

Main U24s would presumably be Flint, Rowe, Thompson, Edwards, Kemp and Gilkes.

Looking at the British U19 from this year and excluding Foord who I think will be too old the top six were Harrison, Scott, Rushen, Cairns, Pjiper and Loftus. Assuming of course they are young enough at whatever the cut off point is.

If Worky was his home track he'd be a completely different rider to last year IMO.

He was quite clearly dropping his average last season.....will be interesting to see where he ends up

You keep saying this but it's simply not true, he's said himself he enjoys the track and it's always different when you are riding a circuit regularly as a home rider rather than an occasional visitor.

I don't think it really matters anyway as long as you've got the correct blend of riders.

Not really sure why, that'd be as good a heat leader trio as anyone due to the 8 pointer rule and two amazing prospects at reserve, get the second strings right and it'd be the team to beat once again.

Well done Redcar, didn't see that coming at all. Jody really has developed nicely this season, really pleasing as a Lynn fan and fellow Norfolker.

Some interesting comments from Buster at the Lynn awards evening last night, when asked about league structures he suggested that the top division will remain but it would take a few promoters putting some money in each to make it happen. Whether that means to replace TV money or to get Northampton off the ground who knows.
