  1. Klindt far too soft on Fricke there, should have squeezed him right up and got Kvech through too. Leicester have been much more ruthless when needed.
  2. Leicester are much sharper from the tapes and then much tougher when they need to be. Great ride there from Fricke. Lynn a bit of a three man side at the moment. Need some big rides after the interval to have any hope on Thursday.
  3. I don't think we did really. Jason had a spell with us in 2023 and struggled with the track surface so I don't think either party would have been keen on another go. I think Luke and Jody have done ok. As for next year, if the RS system is still in force I'd have thought Cooper would be in the frame too.
  4. Quite a while ago now. My first couple of meetings there were in 1993 & 1995 while on holiday, it was the old narrow track but was prepared well and was fast. There was also some good racing in the late 90's / early 00's as the new shape.
  5. No, its because over the years and sometimes nowadays you have had blue grooves, bumps, holes, dust and all manner of bad stuff. It's a shame because once upon a time it was a great track.
  6. Yes it is, Brennan is a great choice. May I remind you that Kerr has scored a paid seventeen at Lynn this season 😉
  7. Nope, going by what I saw with my own eyes earlier in the season. I'm certainly not digging him out as he'll probably end up with a medal this year and has loads of time on his side but I expected a little more.
  8. Nope, absolutely not slagging him off at all, just expected him to be scoring a few more away from home. Maybe my expectations were too high.
  9. I know Cairns is only sixteen and very inexperienced but I expected him to score better than he has done so far in the Championship.
  10. Any details of the junior meeting afterwards please?
  11. Not really sure why signing Kerr would be giving up? If Cook doesn't return we need to sign somebody.
  12. Fair play to Leicester, that's a good win and probably snuffs out our faint hopes. Will just have to make sure we win that cup 🏆
  13. Probably not but while its mathematically possible you dont give up. He's also guesting for the team that he'll be facing in the cup final next week. All a bit farcical.
  14. Lawson guesting for the team that his own are trying to catch for 4th, speedway really doesn't help itself sometimes 🤦‍♂️
  15. That's where a strong governing body and set of referees come in who would take no squit.
  16. The simplest way would be to have a strict cut off date, if fixtures haven't been run by that date then the home team forfeit two points for each meeting not run. No reason why twelve home meetings cant be run in five months.
  17. This is a fair point. Really anybody should be 'cup tied' once they have appeared for a team. As you say it should be along the same lines as the Play Offs. Of course this would have caused an issue for Lynn but there are Championship only riders who could have guested for Cook.
  18. I'm not entirely sure how accurate that is, I'm not a million miles from Lynn and we've had torrential rain all morning with some localised flooding.
  19. From what I can gather he didn't want to be there in the first place.
  20. RAF Marham has had just short of half an inch this weekend, and tomorrow Norfolk (and much of the UK) has a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms. Seems an understandable and sensible call to me. As a season ticket holder I'd be pretty miffed if points were awarded and meetings not run.
  21. Yep it was quite clearly a fair move, but in the context of the meeting situation and Thompson going down you can understand why some Ippo fans didn't like it seeing it in real time, would have been exactly the same at Lynn in reverse.
