  1. Can see this being a bit of a clattering tonight unfortunately, Poole are very good at home right now and Glasgow are missing a couple of key men.....if they can keep it to 10-12 points they'll have done well and it will give them an outside chance on Saturday.
  2. I went to the '92 and '94 World Semi Finals, the former wasn't great due to the wet weather that day and a very heavy track but the latter was excellent, although I might have had rose tinted specs on as a Lynn fan due to Loram winning it and Henka coming third or fourth. Wonderful viewing in a steep bowl too.
  3. Not sure I'd be having Worrall or Jorgensen back on those figures. If they want to be here for the whole season then Klindt, Pickering, Lawson and Jakobsen would be a great start for 2023.
  4. Looks pretty good right up until 9pm Saturday according to the beeb.
  5. Yep understand that but I'd have thought it'd be in their interests to try and sort something out as rain offs must do their heads in as much as all of us. I just can't get my head around there being so few fixtures on across all three leagues in the height of summer and then all the important stuff being crammed in during Sept and Oct when the weather can (and has) change dramatically.
  6. Why not get the Play Offs races before the end of August while kids aren't at school? Then use Sept and Oct for cup/trophy meetings.
  7. In addition you can't have a two legged tie where one team has more heats at home than the other.....for me meetings have to go the distance over two legs, same principle as removing tac subs in such matches.
  8. Depends really, if its the Prem in its current guise then agree but if its a bigger league (say eight teams) and half a dozen very good riders return to the UK then it would be a step up for for a club with lots of ambition.
  9. Wouldn't be surprised if the series is Nilsson instead of Przedpelski and the other fourteen the same as this year.
  10. And the fixtures in the other two leagues have been even worse! Should have said relative inactivity, Edinburgh (and Poole) been far busier in the last couple of months.
  11. I think Leicester's inactivity over the past 6-7 weeks will bite them on the bum as it did in the cup, very hard to ride back into form once the rust has set in. Monarchs to score big tonight and finish the job tomorrow.
  12. It must be great to be skidder and live a perfect life never getting anything wrong. One presumes his occupation is professional nit picker.
  13. He's the master winder upper and you've just wandered straight into his trap....I'd suggest you stick him on ignore if you can't resist biting.
