I bet it won't be. -
While the stock cars keep bringing in hundreds of thousands of pounds a year the track will be set up to suit them and not bikes unfortunately.

Speedway World Cup 2017
Bagpuss replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Kings Lynn has been poor for several seasons now but there is no doubt that if you swapped the two semis round the racing would have been better Saturday and worse last night. Unfortunately the line ups magnified the deficiencies of the AFA as a race track but it did serve up a belter of a meeting last night. In terms of shape and surface Vastervik looks light years ahead of Lynn. -

Neils far too nice, had the chance to get under Lebedevs and shove him wide but shut off and lost his momentum. Well done Latvia. -
Group B possibly stronger all round but group A has got three of the four strongest pairs in it for me so possibly the tougher one to get out of.
-
Masters was the next in line for me. Has extra experience. Kurtz and Holder's time will come, they can have few complaints at not being involved with six very good riders ahead of them in the Aussie pecking order.
-
Let's hope this new stuff means better racing.

Bad shale. Don't think it's any more complicated than that.

Sam Masters surely? Better than Kurtz or Holder at this stage of their young careers. I don't agree with some of the stuff Woffinden said on Twitter but several people couldn't wait to goad him once GB started doing well. Pretty poor really and little wonder they got a response. -
Are you saying that we should have done something different to getting Jorgensen and Ayres in?

Not better for him if he wants to see how far he can go on the sport. Will only achieve his potential if he ditches Championship speedway and rides in Poland & Sweden regularly. -

Apart from his debut IIRC.....paid thirteen I believe then crap/injured thereafter. -

It doesn't really make too much difference how he prepares it, the dirt used at Lynn just isn't suitable for bikes. Remember Woffinden not being able to pass Manzares the other year? Nothing will change while stock cars are so lucrative. -
Not earth shattering but I think this makes Rye slightly stronger and ensures there will always be an experienced reserve. Harsh on Perks but Kennett can have few complaints really.

I think it's quite obvious which team will finish in which position and I feel it won't be close between any side. So hopefully the racing is decent! -
Swindon Robins Vs Wolves (29-6-17)

To be honest I'd be pointing fingers at Masters rather than King. -

'Masters unhappy crossing finishing line' Meanwhile the grass on the centre green is, er, green -
I'm sure we hear this every year, wouldn't be surprised if he moves on one day or drops Britain but speculation always seems to be incorrect.

Bagpuss replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think it's no coincidence that Cook has flourished by riding the NSS track on Friday nights rather than Armadale, it's been the making of him and has improved his scores on foreign soil no end. Whether he gets into the GP's or not you would like to think that Poland and Sweden will both offer him regular racing so he can improve a bit more, which he won't do in our Championship. A good display(s) at Lezno in the SWC will help to that end too. -
The rule book stuff goes without saying, but the real culprits are those who let them get away with it.

It's difficult to fathom why the Poole track has had these problems for so long now when every other aspect of what the club does seems to be so professional.

Bomber scored a straight fifteen max in his one Lynn appearance this year. That includes several passes, overtaking is difficult nowadays but not impossible. King has always been pretty good at Lynn whereas it's been a while since Scott looked really good there. He is very much a small track man nowadays. -
Indeed, one wouldn't be surprised if it was true but people on here tend to follow any old piece of information like sheep and are only too eager to share their outrage whether it's confirmed or not. Anyway good to see a team place given to a youngster rather than be clogged up by a has been.

You are all assuming that what Hall says is the truth of course.

Got to be King, next best option by some distance.
