If only they had been so sharp in replacing Hughes.
This team is crying out for two heatleaders, would be interested to know why Clegg has ended up at Buxton and not Lynn.
Was last night Bellego's and Gappmaier's Monmore debuts? If so then I'd say that paid ten between them probably exceeds expectations slightly, especially if it was grippy.
To be fair Schlein and Thorsell both had paid ten and the Freddie / Masters combo had been 5-1'd in heat thirteen.
Agree with earlier comments though, the three home points regardless of the winning margin thing is a shocker of a rule, they should have left it how it was ie the home team loses a point if the away team gains one.
I'd love it if somebody could come on here and put a valid argument forward as to how and why that result is good for third tier speedway.
And if the earlier comment about Clegg not being able to ride to day is correct (I assume there is a good chance that it isn't) then words absolutely fail me.
Commiserations to Adam but well done Robert, great performance in the toughest looking semi. Think he will do very well to finish above all of the heavily sponsored Poles in the final but he'll give it a good go I'm sure.
Bjerre is in the right environment for him to flourish, it was Lynn back in 2011 when he was sublime but I don't think it would suit him now. Everything is suiting him right now, fair at to him and Belle Vue for the signing.
That's a very fair point which I overlooked. Wider fact is though that Perks is one of, if not the best number seven around and they can't replace his scoring with guests.
Delighted to be proved wrong. Have said all along that the team was built around Holder and the senior reserve scoring well and that is starting to bear fruit. Would have been nice to take all four points but three will do very nicely. There is lots more to come from this team and one we get a scoring number seven the sky could be the limit.
