All this talk of points being awarded is silly, it won't happen without proof. Last time we saw that was when Belle Vue had their 'water leak'. While I understand people's frustration sums of the reactions on here are bordering on delerious. The truth will never be known, although there does seem a trend that any weather other than that which will get in the maximum crowd leads to a call off. All this will do is put off those travelling from afar or those floaters who aren't committed to going every week. One thing I will say is that there us always the feeling that the promotion aren't telling us everything with their statements.

Been extremely windy all day in rural Norfolk and there are plenty of bits of tree laying around on exposed back roads, some big old bits. However the wind is nowhere near as strong now as it was and it does make you wonder if there is more to this than meets the eye. Sorry but the novice at number seven idea has to be maintained. Some will sink, some will swim but in the end it will improve riders quicker. For every JPB there is an Ellis Perks, Danyon Hume etc and generally it will work. The talent is there, it needs a means of being nurtured.
