  1. Exactly, hence the 'practical' comment. Or perhaps he's going elsewhere, or is too expensive for the budget etc. I like the fact this team has four Chargers/NL riders in it. There's a lot of potential in that mooted side with a top two to match any. It's a bit of a blueprint for others.
  2. I've never seen the issue with this if they think they the got the right seven riders. Presumably the one 'at risk' would be Heeps but if there is nobody obvious or practical to replace him with then why do it for the sake of it.
  3. Its very difficult to tell until everyone else reveals their hand, but what Glasgow have is several riders who have room for improvement.
  4. Christ no, don't want that lot with us again.
  5. Don't bite folks, don't bite Any team with Worrall and Harris in it isn't going to be 'shoestring' anyway.
  6. Not convinced by the wisdom of going with such a powerful top two but the other five can all improve their averages IMO, even Complin.
  7. And the opportunity to race for the champions, and to ride a vastly superior circuit each week.
  8. I think it would be fair to say that the riders have far too much influence.
  9. No, but many people realise that what they are getting is very often nowhere near the value of what they are paying. This is something that those running our great sport keep ignoring.
  10. Should have been a one off final in the first place, IMO all the problems started when they went back on that.
  11. I think the 'pile on' has far more to do with how you and one or two others conduct yourselves on Poole threads, you really can't be surprised at getting a load back when Poole cock it up. You've been winding folk up on here for many years after all
  12. Why does British Speedway never learn?
  13. I suspect the reasoning behind the lower points limit fpr those in favour of it is to try to narrow the gulf between the top five and the bottom four from this season and to make things more affordable for those smaller clubs.
  14. Simon Lambert seems to have had his breakthrough season at 34 years old. He'd be the first name on the 2024 Lynn team sheet if it was up to me.
  15. The Championship is going to look very different in 2024.
  16. Yeah fair points. I think Sedgemen majorly over achieved to start with and then reverted to type, he was never going to keep that form up. Went for Wijdylo because of his impact but could go for one of the Cook brothers or Blodorn instead. Maybe even Simon Lambert at a push.
  17. I see most people have gone with six heat leaders and a R/S......I've deliberately named two second strings and two reserves as I think that's more in the spirit of a 'team'.
  18. Sayfutdinov Kurtz Museilak Douglas Sedgmen Wojdylo Rowe
  19. I don't think any rider should be criticised for not riding in our second division if that's what they feel is best for their development, shows a bit of ambition and a willingness to get out of their comfort zone.
  20. Poznan are staying up because Landshut can't fulfill Liga 1 criteria.
