  1. I think he means there was good racing but the camera man kept missing it
  2. We're all bored of your anti Buster crusade, stop polluting threads with it, go and make your own thread somewhere and leave us all alone. Agree. I started watching about an hour behind so have only just read the thread and it's full of absolute garbage. Thought that was a pretty good meeting, we are obviously struggling this season so all you can ask is for the team to give it their all and show some fight, and they did that. Unfortunately Laguta was never going to carry on after getting a knock but he was fully committed on track. Riss was either uninterested or unfit, you feel with a half decent guest we would have won that.
  3. Cheers, had forgotten about the aborted comeback at Owlerton.
  4. Struggling to work out which two away matches give him a 2.67 average?
  5. That's the spirit Harris and Lawson concern me, that's a great pairing at Lynn. I think the comment from szkocjasid referred to me saying that it might be seen as good to get R/R rides out of the way early, I can't think of a reason why but nine times out of ten teams run it at 2 so there must be a logic.
  6. I can see both sides of the argument to be fair. Agreed with you until I read Daniel's post, now I'm torn. Perhaps getting R/R out of the way by heat 10 is seen as a good thing?
  7. So I'm getting a bit of stick for this The point I'm making and obviously not getting across very well is that we have the basic Sky package with no Sky Sports, movies etc. just entertainment, even if I had no interest in any sport at all we would still get Eurosport as I understand it so tonight's speedway is automatically there on my telly because I choose to watch all the other Sky channels that come with the entertainment package. As it is I won't be finishing work until 7pm so it'll be the TV for me rather than rushing about like a blue arsed fly and probably missing heat 1 to be there.
  8. I think they were probably spooked by the yellow weather warning but they've essentially cancelled the meeting because if a 60% chance of showers, always a good chance it was going to stay dry.
  9. Ah Facebook, now that's a different matter
  10. I've not seen one moan about Complin to be fair.
  11. Again that's no surprise if Buster is going to bankroll Artem, and no surprise that Pickering decided to ride elsewhere.
  12. You are fast becoming my favourite poster Good for you, I reckon you might get a prize if you are correct.
  13. I'd say it essentially is 'free' because I already pay for a telly package which includes Eurosport. Its a monthly cost within the household budget. A slightly reduced admission cost, perhaps a free programme, maybe a free seat in the grandstand, some kind if entertainment for the ad breaks either on the big screen or the centre grey, perhaps some junior races. Just something different, something extra. As for the meeting, Leicester look too strong down the order to me. Looks like 40-50 ish to me.
  14. This is the bottom line right here. You need to incentivise folk to not take the easier and cheaper option of watching it in their own front room. All very well people saying that we all SHOULD pay to enter the stadium on top of fuel, possibly food and drink and finishing work early for some of us rather than watching it at home for free but the club needs to make an effort to encourage people to do that.
  15. Especially now he's started to score points for Redcar.
  16. Thats because the A17 was built by the devil himself
  17. My fear once Alex left was that Josh wouldn't return, will be interesting to see what happens. He'll obviously get more £'s at Owlerton and his main motivation to come back to Lynn has now gone.
  18. Live on the wireless https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live:bbc_radio_norfolk?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile
  19. So you think Alex Brady left King's Lynn because of Keith Chapman? Like I said you are clueless.
  20. Yep, overwatering happens occasionally when it's hot, not the first track and won't be the last. If people want to cut their noses off to spite their faces they'd up to them but it would be more sensible to consider all the good meetings since April 2022 rather than one bad one.
  21. With all due respect you are clueless. Mr Chapman isn't particularly my cup of tea and I fully understand why you and others dislike him, however he essentially saved the club in 1992, 1996, 2003 and again in 2023. The club could have been long extinct but for him.
  22. Wish him the best for the future but he's been poor. Pickering back in hopefully.
