AFAIK he doesn't but happy to be corrected. No idea why Skidder found my post so funny!
-
Or perhaps he'd rather sign for Ipswich for more money if the Emil deal falls through. If Buster isn't really involved in the day to day running of the Panthers as I suspect then I don't think Holder would be put off riding at the EoES.

So there we have it, as you say they essentially have the same second tier experience and Cook has the lowest average of the three. In terms of where they are right now I'd say that's case closed. Let's all reconvene in eight months time and redebate it then.

Kye Thomson, I have now taken the P

Course he is averaged over half a point less than both Brennan & Thomson without bonuses in 2022. Might well turn out better than those two but as things stand he's behind them.

Knew I wasn't dreaming it! Remember going to the Foxhole in the afternoon full of optimism having dispatched the Twitches comfortably in the morning 54-36 with Henka Gustafsson scoring his first Lynn maximum, but the Stars were poor and Ipswich ran out deserved 48-41 (?) victors. Lynn put that right a year later though after a morning washout by wining 48-42 in enemy territory, Henka and Bo Brhel doing the main damage and securing the win with a heat fifteen 5-1.

Gold Cup I'd imagine.

Injuries are the big thing, no doubt they have robbed you of a shot at the title more than once in the recent past.

He definitely rode against Lynn home and away on Good Friday 1991.

Remember that, 1993? Was rained off but result stood, think he won his last two races.

Thomas will do very well if his wrists are fully healed.

As the Miedzinski saga proved that means two fifths of sod all!

Roynon and Newman look like the strongest pairing initially but I'd be surprised if they are by the time we get to the Play Offs. Other teams reserves will develop or be replaced, perhaps Poole will have made changed by then too but if not you feel Roynon and Newman have a ceiling to how well they can do having been around a fair while now. I think its clever team building but might not prove to be the best method over eight months, time will tell

Ten trophies in five seasons 2005-09 including two trebles. Good times. Nothing like competing on the top league though.

Poole doing their bit for youth development by going with reserves who have a combined age of 65

When Lynn closed for a year in 1996 I did a few meetings at P'boro, Ippo, Mildenhall, Arena and Cov but its just not the same when you don't watch your own team. If the next nearerest track was an absolute thronker like BV, Redcar, Glasgow or Scunny it might be different but if you are a long time supporter of a particular team you can't just switch.
-
Yep fair enough, just one of the victims of the reduced points limit unfortunately.
-
Fair enough, in theory it could have been BV or Sheffield then but I think for the other four those riders were always going back. Puts into perspective the pelters riders get when they go back on agreements, I expect clubs do it all the time unbeknown to most of us.
-
I also think teams have avoided Dan T because he is so good at Leicester and that perhaps inflated his average.
-
And there you have it, if anyone is unaware of why Poole are disliked then have a read of the last few pages. Wind up or not.
-
Think it has to be. The other six had theirs all arranged early doors by all accounts.

Moving Rye from Sat to Thurs was understandably disastrous but I've never got my head round why Poole moving their race night back 24 hours is such a big deal. Very odd.
