  1. Wow, he's got you rattled for a start I dont know the bloke or too much about him but he's obviously trying to get the fanbase engaged and heighten the anticipation and excitement for the new campaign after a poor seadon last year. Hes essentially promoting his new club, can't see too much wrong with that. He's essentially got folk talking about Peterborough Panthers and that can't be a bad thing.
  2. I think that's what we tried last year but there were too many inconsistencies. For the P'boro formula to work the top six all have to average seven ish and be rock solid every single week. Fingers crossed.
  3. I expect he's signed for a Danish side because he's only getting half the Championship fixtures that was mooted.
  4. They did it many years ago in the EL too, possibly Benji Compton as the make weight number seven?
  5. 'Splashing the cash' isn't the same as 'paying more than most'. I'd have thought moving down would allow you to continue paying more than most as well as maintaining your race night. And I think people probably say that Poole pay more than most because that's the case it stands to reason as one of the best supported and sponsored clubs in the UK. The notion that Poole are one of the only ones to pay on time is a poor argument too (not your suggestion on thos thread I know). Most do and I'm sure that includes Plymouth.
  6. This kind of thing has always gone on and always will do, gentleman's agreements will get broken when self employed tradesmen get offered a slightly better deal by somebody else. Rankles when it's your own team but it's part of speedway. Everyone knows Poole can offer more than most, seems to offend the south coast mafia on here though which is slightly odd. Nothing to be ashamed of.
  7. And the Cup and Trophy. Clean sweep. Nermark Harding Doolan Batchelor Topinka Mills Oliver BOOM
  8. Mountain and Lambert will be very strong at home and the idea is obviously to win every home meeting by margins to allow ple ty of bonus points. Thompson is a very shrewd signing looking at the other reserves around, he really should be scoring half decent points everywhere against quite a few two pointers.
  9. Wow very similar to Lynn, just wider and a bit rounder. Gives me a really good idea of what it's like, thank you.
  10. If you feel like doing more of those then please do, really interesting
  11. Wolves look uninspiring to me but their home form will always give them a great chance of top four.
  12. He said that you look weaker than last season, that the Cooks need to step up and riding in the Prem might effect their form and that he doesn't think you will win the league without some changes. I think that's all fair enough and quite a few people would agree with that.
  13. He's made some very good points in that post. Perhaps wait for him to do some actual trolling before getting your knickers twisted?
  14. I'd say Bellego is a better rider than he was in 2019. Also 18 of his 24 league matches will be on big tracks next season.
  15. Absolutely, hence my using of the word GENERALLY. There will always be the odd anomaly.
  16. Don't think Emil will come so based on that Sheffield BV P'boro Wolves Lynn Ipswich Leicester However there are only fag papers between several sides so the liklihood of that being correct is remote!
  17. The age thing is to do with potential really, the younger a rider is the more improvement they generally have in them. You are quite right, their Wolves averages in 2023 will be a great barometer but as things stand the only direct comparison is Championship figures and Flint is comfortably ahead.
  18. That wasn't the point being made though, it was an argument over Cook being better than Flint even though he averages over a point less despite being four years older.
