Don't think he was ever coming.

I'm not displeased at all, I feel we probably have the best reserve in the league but I'm struggling to see which three teams would finish below us to give us a Play Off place. BV and Sheffield look a cut above the others and the reputed P'boro line up would get them in so it's a matter of bettering Leicester with their strong top four, and an ordinary looking Ippo & Wolves who have a heavyweight number one and strong home advantage respectively. Need three or four riders to increase their averages. Could happen but its a big ask.

He's divided opinion by the look of it. Could be a masterstroke, could be a disaster.

One of your lot on Twitter wants KK instead of King

The idea that another marquee signing will happen when an enormous chunk of the budget goes on Doyle is optimistic at best.

Why not? If both couldn't be fitted in then its a toss up, very little in their averages and both quality Champ performers.

Early impressions for me from announced and suggested teams would be a top four of Glasgow, Poole, Redcar and Oxford; a bottom two of Berwick & Brum with Edinburgh, Plymouth and Scunny scrapping it out for last two Play Off spots. Just my opinion of course, no jumping up and down or getting upset folks, I'm usually wrong

You have to remember that Poole speedway is in a prime holiday area and holiday season crowds will always be healthy, plus its an affluent area which is good for sponsorship. We keep hearing that Poole don't pay over the odds but neither are they paying peanuts. In any case its up to Glasgow and Brum's owners what they pay, nothing to do with anyone else.

You know its not big or clever don't you? All a bit immature really.

Plus as has been said a trillion times riders usually adapt to tracks they ride every week rather than twice a season, especially with set-up advice from team mates.
-
Not sure it is, but out of interest which two riders would you not have and who would join Zagar instead?

Have you quoted the wrong post there? Your response doesn't seem to have anything to do with the post you are replying to.....

Poole always find a way to win and peak come Play Off time so I wouldn't ever write them off. Incidentally when I said they are the team to watch I literally meant WATCH....they are going to be so entertaining and put bums on seats when they ride away.

Great signing. Glasgow look like THE team to watch in 2023.

It's a big ask for him but I think he'll do really well at the NSS, he's a big track rider with lots of speed and knows the track through the Colts. Surprised they didn't use Bailey but Mulford is shrewd. I think the Jack Smith comparison is flimsy, there was 0.15 between them and Smith has been knocking around the NL for nine seasons, he should be averaging what he does. In terms of potential they are chalk and cheese.

Lidsey will stick at least a point on his average, he is a great signing on his 2019 figure. There's an opportunity for he, Brennan & Blodorn to slug it out for third heat leader and whichever of them is at reserve through the season will be strong.
