  1. Well that is half a day of my life I won't get back. Like watching p&p. No passing and riders all spread out. Worrall actually made a gate and won. Got three. Badly need Kyle back fit and well. His absence was the difference tonight. Also Lawson who scored well. Not a single pass all meeting other than heat 15 when Hans off gate four cut back under Wozniak and Lawson to join Holder coming off the back straight of bend two. In all the years of watching speedeay I dont think I have ever experienced no passing. I suppose I am lucky watching my speedway at Poole where there is passing galore in virtually every heat inside and out. I am sure Leicesters track could be improved no end and hope it will be. For Leicester Wozniak was excellent until heat 15 Auty one good ride but poor other than that Summers gated in the important heat 14. Hougard was poor after heat one. Lawson battled hard good guest Klindt was gating wel and no one could get close until his bike blew up. Starke battled. For Poole Hans started poorly but goy better Buck struggled Ellis did OK Bjarne did OK Holder see Hans Brady battled Worrall wobled. Fair result. To come back from12 down to get a draw is good. Could have been better.
  2. Sitting here in the grandstand in front of the tapes. Interval now. I can say there has not been one single pass in the first 11 heats after the second bend. Poole losing because Leicester have gated and after a lap its all spread out. Holder just won the last as he gated. If he hadn't the tractor would have beaten him. Total lottery with zero racing. Just Lions home track advantage giving them the edge out of bend two due to home advntage. Thats fair enough and no complaints at the score. The track changes have made zero improvement to racing. For those that say Worrall is better than Newman, well he has wobbled about at the back in his first two before being replaced. He is in the next one. Has Newman scored this badly for Poole this season? Add to that Lawson has picked up six so far thats the difference. But fair play to Leicester on their likely win. I used to moan about the racing at Lakeside, but compared to this tripe it makes Lakeside a decent race track.
  3. Worrall. 0,0, Gavan knows Jack shyte. Better than Newman? Hahahaha. Half a lap behind and all over the place Just seen some passing. The grader overtook the water bowser!!!!
  4. What was wrong with it in the street running parallel with the stadium?
  5. Isnt it live on c sport ? Watched it last week on Kodi through Gul Tv addon
  6. If there are only six teams in the EL, then the speedway constitution states thathe EL and PL merge to make two leagues. There will aleays be s top lesgue and second division. And judging by the size of the crowds Leicester got a couple of years ago, they could be won back. Helmsley wouldnt listen. He even altered the track shape Ermolenko marked out then sacked him.
  7. Well done to Helmsley in bring the sport back to Leicester. And well do e to him for resigning. Now perhaps it can be run properly. He made a complete howler of the track shape when he had a blank canvas, he wouldnt listen to advice and as a result the racing suffered and with it the crowd dwindled. Fresh promoter needed to finish the track, start building a report with the fans and sort out the correct race night. Not that difficult job to be honest. As for Helmsley and wanting change in the BSPA. You cant do anything from the outside. This is not bad news at all to be honest. Typical Gavan post. You should know by now that in his world Poole were responsible for the holocaust.
  8. Hopefully. I am in Brighton until at least 4 pm. If I think I can make it I will. A23, M23, M25, M1. 167 miles. What do you reckon?
  9. I remeber it well but there was never any talk of boycott, and the consistent anti management posts. Poole cant win the league all the time and this golden period will end soon enough. It happens in all sports but never forever. Seems to me that a lot of Coventry fans refuse to get behind their club and support them. Dont they realise that is the only way to bring about success?
  10. Why is it that Coventry fans are without any doubt whatsoever, the biggest load of moaning, whining, bleating fans on the bsf? They go on and on about anything they can moan at. They refuse to go and support their team, meaning finances wont allow the promotion scope to make changes. Then the Coventry promotion offer entry tomorrow night for a tenner, and fans won't go because they went to a nl meeting to get the discount and now it is open to everyone! You really couldnt make it up. The Coventry cant do right for doing wrong! I just get the feeling some so called Coventry fans here will be happy if Coventry dont see out the season.
  11. Really great meeting. Funnily enough two weeks ago was a blinder from here as well. Gollob seems to have a new appetite for racing after being on a wind down the last two seasons. Perhaps he realises once the time has gone its gone so is making the most of the twilight of his career. Wonderful stuff and the way he went out wide and wound it on in heat 15 was a joy to watch unless you are a mickey mouse fan. Looking forward to Bjarne doing the same tomorrow night at Leicester. Lol.
  12. Great to see a proper race on the track. Looks great.
  13. Not bothered about his winning margins just the fact he came through and is fit to race Tomorrow.
  14. Yet Poole reserve Brady Kurtz qualified. Perhaps after all this thread Cook should be in the PL.
  15. Perhaps he can't get a ride in Poland because they don't think he is good enough. Couldn't get through a fairly easy GP qualifier tonight at KL.
  16. From updates Ellis has smashed the Eastbourne NL track record tonight and is half a lap in front every heat he has been in. Llooks like he is back for Monday.
  17. For all this waffle on this thread the blame clearly sits with the Peterborough promotion. They were told by a member of the MC is a friendly conversation before the attempted signing that the signing would proably not be allowed. Now common senseseems to be lacking from the Peterborough promotion. Rather than making a fanfare about the signing, then ending up throwing toys out of the pram, what he should have done was apply for the changes on the quiet, and waited for an answer. A negative would have meant stay as you are and no one would be any the wiser, or a possitive and fanfare time. To do what he did, after advice from an MC member, and completely ignore it, shows naivety at best and stupidty at worst. And the threats of pulling out are quite pathetic. The BSPA won't bow down to this type of behaviour, and rightly so. Only people to blame here are the Peterborough promotion IMO. And why are these threads are blocking up the EL section? Its a PL issue so the mods should move them over.
  18. No wrath. But Newman last season was tremendous at Leicester with some proper from the back passing. If Worral can do the same we will be satisfied. Hope Ellis rides tonight and is not feeling the effects of his smash on Monday.
  19. Sounds great. Looking forward to coming up this season.
  20. Me too. Not hd but not far from it. This will be available either tomorrow or Sunday on youtube in crystal clear HD. Good meeting.
  21. Spoke to Adam about this exact point on Wednesday. The NL is Good for testing setups and new gear. Not bothered about PL as has more than enough racing with Poole, Eastbourne plus continental bookings.
