  1. Maybe as previously said a 28 day injury replacement, but letting luke get experience by allowing him to ride for the Comets
  2. Just making up rules to suit like Mr Godfrey does
  3. Good luck to the comets and the Hardy fans who travel to cheer them on
  4. Had a look last week seams to be an odd one here and there
  5. Think the rules are comets keep luke, as he is a temporary replacement for Redcar, but as we know they make up the rules to suit themselves. Could be a good guest in Ashton as he is on fire at the minute paid max at berwick on Saturday having his 1st visit
  6. Shud know by now bspa don't know what they are doing
  7. Another reason for early call off is to stop Kent riders and others from travelling or not travelling as far before a call off, sods law as writing this it's stopped raining and starting to brighten up, but damage already done with rain over nite
  8. Arrgh just watched BBC weather at lunchtime, definitely turned for the worse
  9. Don't believe all the weather forecasts are saying, should know by now Cumbria/worky has its own climate, keep the faith and speedway will be on
  10. Just been confirmed by the club that start time stays at 3.00 said the looked into a time change, but due to unavailability of medical and track staff and rider availability, the time stays at 3.00 details on social media and website. Record the GP and get down to the Northside arena . UTC
  11. Actually it's the 3rd birth of the comets, 1970 to 1981 , 1999 to 2018 and 2023 to ?? Plus Glasgow borrowed Derwent park in 1987 until they got thrown out in poo gate fiasco !!! Also about 6 very junior meetings were held in 1985 Think the present day national development league is very competitive, where heat leaders don't get it all their own way, with some very good 2nd strings and reserves, all which imo brings good speedway, yes we all would like the comets to win, but speedway is back and enjoy the ride. While watching the riders develop and we may see the next Dan bewley coming through the ranks , one of these imo Aston boughen at 15 years old looks very promising
  12. Must av special belle Vue bikes !!! Hope he brings them to northside arena on Saturday
  13. Live on disco + still trying to find out if/when eurosport are showing a as live or repeat coverage
  14. Sorry have not seen details of go fund me or what difficulties Kent maybe in !! But surely need to promote what is an attractive fixture
  15. Bit of a poor show by Kent's supporters!! Comets fans on the long drive to Kent having to post to publise the meeting, enjoy boys
  16. Cumbria crack an online news service in Cumbria had a report of the unfortunate incident, with Craig cook being an Cumbrian
  17. So do the comets mini bus of fans on way to Kent after Leicester meeting called off tonight, heard they are going via some cow show to fill in the time on the way
  18. Kent will be used to early starts, home meetings start at 12.00,
  19. Think £££s will be dangled for the 15 year old, only one club can do that in the north , unless that big club down south dangles the cash and the beachside living
  20. Imo today showed why Mr bickley should not be considered for a comets team place, got an average of 9 points in the league, but struggled to score 5 today, did not look that interested, pulling up twice when at the back, but may have had bike issues, but it was still running
  21. Agree with all you say, another star in the pits was ex world champion Gary havelock
