Bang on. Drugs have been rife in the sport for decades and its only a very small minority that get caught. Same as any sport I guess though, can't tell me that all premier league footballers are squeaky clean.

Garrity though is a scumbag as well as a user.

Kelly Moran's biography was an interesting read on certainly the drinking!

I was one to say give hm a chance but he's blown that - you were right Pinny - there remains the issue of what the heck to do with him once he is out again!

Got to agree,  what jason did was an act that resulted in being rightfully jailed.  There are however much worse crimes that get a lesser sentence.  Like death by dangerous driving and being in a gang and beating up a person and leaving them for dead! Some speedway supporters have very short memories.  Wonder how many on here that berate garrity, Once cheered him on for club and country.

None of them should be out early but that shouldn't affect Garritty

He broke the terms of his licence (more than once from the stories on here)

Where do you draw the line?

He only broke a curfew

He was only in an area he shouldn't have been in

He only stole a Mars bar

He only stole a bike

He only stole a car

He only broke into a house

He only broke in, was unexpectedly disturbed and bashed someone

Where on that list would be need to get to before being sent back?

If any of those you bring into the equation so much as drop a cigarette butt I'd have them back inside!

those who i brought into the equation half of them will disappear  and  the other half will go on to re-offend  and get sent back for a new crime .  I don't care what lists you write  , letting hardened criminals out to make space for somebody who broke curfew is ridiculous . and the police wating their time monitioring someone to see if they get home at the right time is equally pathetic

wouldn't be any issue of what to do with him . if the police and probation service weren't so pathetic , because he would be earning a living riding for oxford now .. so much for rehabilitation !!!
