Rebuild and go again, I wouldn’t be over ally concerned if he missed the cup matches as well to give more time to recovery. Surely the focus is the league this year for witches. His hard charging “no nonsense “ racing style “ need refining.IMO.
BluPanther
Hope Jordan is okay...🤨 Comments: Bad crash, Heeps and Z.Kennedy clash on backstraight lap 1. Heeps files into air fence, totally out of control. Heeps' bike is ruined and been carried back to the pits. Heeps is back up walking away, looks winded, but otherwise ok. Z.Kennedy excluded, not sure about this one, he did move across approaching bend 3 but he was in front. Jenkins withdraws from the meeting. Air fence panel been replaced. at 12: Re-Run: Comments: Bad crash, Heeps and Z.Kennedy clash on backstraight lap 1. Heeps files into air fence, totally out of control. Pinny
I think Ippo could easily afford a replacement for Doyle if needed. Its crazy to see how well they are doing without him and a well under par Emil.

Getting a replacement for Doyle will be hard though, because I don’t think any of the other top riders in the world want to ride here

I would agree Hancock seemed to adapt a different approach once he turned 40yrs old he had some great results including two world titles and almost rode for another decade at the very top of the sport . Like been said all the top riders who want to ride over here already do as Sheffield found out when Woffy got injured, at best you might get Lambert and one or two more after an easy pay check come late in the season for a handful of meetings. Indeed, generally have the fastest bike, clear off and don't get involved in any tight races and keep safe I seem to remember.
Hawk127
Just watching the introductions to the Polish meeting on tonight. Where did it all go so wrong? This use to be Ipswich on a Thursday with weekly meetings but now hit and miss, poor fixture scheduling and a sport that in the UK is on its last legs. Those that run the sport have capitulated and we are left with the dregs. A very sad situation but thankfully many on here will have seen the best of days when weekly racing was the norm and supporters turned out for individual meetings as well as the 4TT and local derbies. Best get to live meetings when you can because it cannot last as is.

I hate to say it but I wouldn't mind forecasting that Birmingham don't make the end of the season. Of we at Ipswich are very lucky but my god there are some poor sides in this league. Anyway I've said it before and I and others will say it again. Doubling up has killed the sport since 2003 and unfortunately I don't see Anyway back! Hawk127
Ipswich have been fortunate to have many a loyal supporter through thick and thin as have one or two other clubs. Unfortunately missed opportunities to reinvent speedway itself such as after the pandemic were not taken up and instead the status quo has been maintained which has not helped Speedway UK. It does not have the crowd following, infrastructure, stadia or t v exposure that Poland has and the reality is it never will. Cut your cloth accordingly and look first at the domestic structure and then the global scene going back to the old days of international series and the cream of domestic stars rising to the top to compete on the world stage. As it stands the UK riders in general have ideas above their capabilities and need to get real. A few can make it but 95% are never going to match the Poles let alone some of the other nations. Look at the USA, who had the world at their feet and then it all fell apart. Speedway UK is at the crossroads, act now or it will disappear into oblivion. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but clearly you think your view is the only one that counts. If you don’t like it tough, do not read it. As I have said trolls like you are not speedway supporters. I could give you some advice but the powers that be would probably ban me. For now FO.
