Pirate Rich
Rightly or wrongly, we are in the situation these days where the decision on whether to run a meeting or not is decided on the basis of the weather forecast. You would think that the most reliable source would be the Met Office, their forecast predicted impossible conditions for speedway so I don't think the promotion can be blamed for their decision. As it turned out, had the meeting started at 7.30 prompt (as I think it should every week!) then its possible the meeting could have been completed. Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing!

Thunderstorms and heavy rain forecast for the Middlesbrough area on Sunday. Redcar should make the sensible decision and call it off now.

Might look like they just want to make sure they get the second leg!
