Bitza Posted September 17 Report Share Posted September 17 Cheetahs are a spent force for this season, Master's in particular he's got speed for sure, probably the highest GSA in the league, but when the going gets tough he bottles it, when he feels the cause is out of reach he gives in, spineless. Putting aside any new league structure, they be going for Sam and Scott as a top 2 again imo and maybe Mitch as the 3rd heatleader? They can send Gusts to Poole if they want as one attempt at Poole and rides it almost like a no1! Though he'd have to give up Denmark. I'm sure I saw Sam Masters battling all the way to the line in Heat 1 and then re-overtake Lawson in Heat 15. Eagle77 Posted September 18 Report Share Posted September 18 (edited) If Oxford (Cheetahs) had been at all serious about this season they should have gone all out to bring Nicholls in when he became available... In the two top leagues they've been doing little more than going through the motions over the last few weeks just to get their fixtures completed. Now hearing that The Spires won't be around after this year, I really hope that they can put out one decent competitive team in which ever of the top two leagues (if there are still two top leagues) they compete in. After a really encouraging first season back, this season has been a bit of a damp squib and has really just fizzled out... Steve Shovlar Posted September 18 Report Share Posted September 18 Masters looked like he was trying to me. If Lawson wasn’t there he would probably have gone through the card. His fall was caused by the pressure from Lawson where his front wheel went on the curb and shot him off across the end of the second bend.
