Would Jenkins have beaten Becker?  I doubt it.

Jenkins has beaten bigger and better riders than Becker the last couple of seasons. Seems some have short memories. The stats don’t lie and Edwards isn’t better than Jenkins on any metric.

Anyway, Edwards is now in the team and Jenkins isn’t so it’s all a moot point really. Hopefully Edwards has a good meeting tomorrow and contributes! I’m sure he will.

The only chance the Lions have is if riders 2, 3, 4 and 5 can beat their opposite numbers scores by at least 3 points each...

Not likely....

Fricke will do well to outscore Emil, and six and seven pretty much have zero chance of out scoring their direct counterparts, meaning Ipswich will add around 8 to their score just by those head to heads..

Witches by around 16 on the night I would think...

Heat 13, Emil and Doyle to win us the title would seem fitting! 🙏🏼🏆 obviously I want to win it selfishly, but I would love the boys to win it more for Chris Louis’ commitment to the club and his late father John Louis and dedicate it to him 👌🏻

If Ipswich get off to a strong start it's game over. If that happens then fair play Ipswich deserved Champions.

Totally agree. Same with Leicester too though. If they manage to pull this off from here then in my opinion it’ll be an incredible achievement even bigger than Sheffield pulling back an 18 point deficit a couple of years ago. The downpour and conditions made it a farce and without question affected the outcome of that final. Ipswich hadn’t lost by more than 18 in the two previous league meetings there that year under normal conditions. But with the weather not a factor here, if Leicester manage to win at Foxhall by six or more then it’ll go down as one of the greatest achievements in Speedway.

I personally can’t see it and I think it’s going to take an Ipswich heatleader to crash out of the meeting in their first ride or something similar, for Leicester to prevail. They’re going to need a helping hand and although It’s not likely, these things CAN happen. It’s speedway after all.

Ipswich have been the best team from day one . They’ve carried nobody. Belle Vue and Sheffield may have the top gp riders but they’ve been let down in other areas. Same with Leicester. They will be deserved champions. But then surprises do sometimes happen. Can’t see it in this case though.

OK guys, check your recording for tonight's meeting as TNT have changed the name so anyone like me who set it up on Monday will have to set again. It was Grand Final playoffs, now British speedway 🙄

Good job I checked.

Looking at this 2 legged play off Final only the most loyal and committed Lions supporters would have thought they'd have any chance whatsoever of winning over the 2 legs against the Witches .

To me it wasn't a surprise in the slightest they lost the home leg as you'd presume Ipswich would have been clear favourites to win both meetings anyway.  If they were to lose the final then that would certainly have been a massive shock.

Still think its weird that Leicester won more league meetings than any other team this season and lost less than any other league team and still finished 3rd in the table. In Speedways heyday that would have meant being League Champions.

Sheffield were the only team that could have beaten a fully / mostly fit witches side

infact I would go so far as saying Sheffield might have been favourites over 2 legs given their late season changes

27 years been waiting for this,, and I'm doing something else,, how times have changed. Really hope the Witches bring it home in style, and with plenty of heats left so the long suffering fans can enjoy the rest of the racing. To all the long time fans I've know at the track and on here, I hope you all have a fantastic night.
