I think we will get some hints on Friday with team news. Would expect it to be announced than Zach isn’t returning, and then also expect Cairns and Rowe to be announced.

Yes its easy to forget not everyone uses the Forum so a % won't be aware of Zach not returning or Cairns & Rowe were signed on 2 years deals.

As a side note i read this morning that the POL EXL squads are near enough agreed subject to ??? in some instances and Bailey is down to sign as one of 4 Juniors in the Grudziaz EXL team. Think they may allow 1 junior other nationality now but he will be 1 of 2 out of 5. Nailed on no doubt to ride in their U24 POL EXL team though which has I believe a new meeting format. I wonder if he will do UK if he does get a qualifying slot in one of the Aussie meetings this Winter.

Also Kevin J Pedersen leaving his POL EXL 2 side for 2026 and now too old for the POL U24 Lge as well. No new club in POL National Lge on the horizon either at this stage so I wonder if another rider who will look to UK if he cant seek employment except maybe DK. Believe his scoring was also poor in POL hence why not offered a return.

Bowes would be a surprise if he turned up at Poole, I don't think his off track antics at the end of the season would have helped. A rider that would increase his average in a weaker league certainly.

Pretty sure Bowes has signed for Poole. Showed flashes of ability for sure but very inconsistent. Some of that could well have been down to his schedule . I think with Bowes at 4 and Bailey who is new to British Speedway at the difficult No2 position Poole will be weaker next season.

If the rumoured 40 point limit is true, and only 1 rider over 8.00 is accurate, then only Scunthorpe can strengthen up, and Poole and pretty much everyone else have to start next season weaker than they finished this.

Berwick finished under 40 but Kildemand and Jeppesen were both over 8. Plymouth and Workington may be under 40 with Brit reduction if still in place.

Poole finished on 44.53 so will have to loose quite a few points even with the British reduction, about 3.5 points (which for context roughly equates to keeping the 2025 team but replacing Anders Rowe with Ace Pijper)

Cooper for Starke is 2 points saved. Which is a big help for Poole as you would argue that’s an upgrade? Leaving just 1.5 left. So Zach not returning gives you any rider in the 5.8 region, if the other riders all return
