Great it doesn't require surgery and fingers crossed it's a straight foward 'heal' with no other damage.

The initial diagnoses was worse than the MRI scan picked up, so some good news.

If that certain rider is only 16 with tassels , would love to see him guesting for the Comets, but he is doing 4 leagues and imo it's too much too soon

Have the rules been changed?

Remember people on about Berwick using Cairns last year and then others said they couldn't because he was on an assessed average.

A new young rider to the league comes in on a 2 point average until he gets an official one after riding 4/6 home/away meetings, think it's 4 now used to be 6

Sam hagon at reserve isn't a bad shout. I also agree that Loftus wouldn't be awful. He surprised me last season

Generally not been that impressed by Sam at Northside. Hope Vinnie back sooner rather than later , a solid reserve is so important.

Sonny Springer is returning to speedway.

I think its too early for Jamie, and likewise Sonny, but I feel Sonny will grow as the season progresses whereas I cannot see Jamie doing that.

Well, regardless of the above, Workington are naming Cooper Rushen as a guest for Vinnie Foord on Saturday.

What I was saying was that various teams  couldn't use an assessed average rider until he had a proper average. That went from 2 pointers through to 8 pointers in the top league.

I think it's good for young riders to get as much track time as possible so don't see the problem.

If true looking forward to watching cooper in the Comets colours 🔵😀. Unfortunately due to fixtures not much choice of replacement available

Oh good, no harm in getting some practice laps in for when the amazing Pirates visit!!

He’s already done plenty of laps around Northside.

One of Cooper's favourite tracks, finished 3rd in the U19 final beating a certain Mr cairns in the process, also done many more laps in the British youth championships.

Something Poole fans know nothing about, as they don't put on youth meetings, just splash the cash to get the young ones to sign up 😲

Makes sense not to go up against the last home reds match in Borough Park, a crowd of 2500 or more is expected

Goosed my non refundable hotel booking for the 2nd May though.

Should know by now Steve you have to have a hotel booked on cancellation if you are trying to follow speedway one never knows what can happen  😀. You can still stay over on way yam from scummy but come across A66 instead of heading up A1 to Berwick 😜

Aye but maybe cooper will enjoy riding round the Northside arena, releize what he is missing out on and put in a transfer request to ride full time for the Comets 😀
