It’s all on whoever signed him. I’m a bandits supporter and as sceptical as we all were most gave Cook the chance last year and actively supported him. I hold absolutely no ill feeling towards him as a person. He simply should not have been given a team place. The gym, motocross and his push bike seam to do his mental wellness the work of good. If ever ANYONE gave a speech that was straight from their heart, this was IT. The amount raised was mind blowing looking at the bucket when Stoney opened it. But a lot of that is down to the gentleman that collected it. I will never forget those glory days of Stoney riding at DP, and of course in no more prestigious a place than the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff. I just wish I was subscribed to facebook so I could thank Stoney more directly for doing what he is doing. And as others have said, it was great that you still remembered my name stoney, after all those years, when I was donating to the bucket. Mr Workington speedway is welcome up here any time he wants, and good luck with the Rally marra ! Geoff.....John has been quite unwell now for some time. He communicates via social media quite often with Richie if you want to know more, but I dont think he ever gets to Northside nowadays.
