As Ipswich have been confirmed in the premiership it must mean that the BSPL are happy with whoever it is & if needs be an experienced promoter is lined up to over see the new owner.

Jaimon would have been a number one at three tracks last year so could end up in that position this coming season and of course Brady is an out & out number one. If that was the case then in seasons ‘24-‘26 riders for 6 different teams would have occupied the number one spot a season or two after being released by Belle Vue Aces.

Don't know why some opposition fans are desperate for Lidsey to join Ipswich thinking he'd be a terrible signing.

Jaimon actually had more 1st places than 2nd, 3rd and 4th's away from the NSS last season and it'll be a much weaker League this year.

Potential value in the 7.87 GSA imo, I'd put him in the same bracket as Musielak. The weaker the League, The more value their GSA's hold imo.

He contested 18 races from the no.3 berth at Foxhall in 2025 and won 3, I’m sure he’d improve riding here week in week out but that’s hardly no.1 material, not ardently against him signing for ippo, I’m primarily just hopeful the sale completes without a hitch and we have speedway on Heath in 2026 but lidsey has never been particularly great at Foxhall and is some step down from Doyle/emil at no.1 around here.

Spot on i think it will be a big ask now for Ipswich to put a half decent side together let alone if Northampton do happen.

Its going to take someone with serious bags to burn when you look at it you are going to be getting the very last left overs to form a team, either running at a place with no heritage or at possibly Oxford under a different brand name where its already been proven the Oxford public don't want three teams.

No tv deal rumoured either, who would be bonkers and rich enough to take this on ?

A Jarek Hampel type?? Not the worst role model to have.....

To be fair he has improved greatly year on year and is one of a relatively small band that has the capability of moving up to higher levels 

May not be the box office mega signing like an Emil but not as shabby as some may think

I think anyone will be a step down from Doyle or Emil unless a rabbit is pulled out of the hat.

I agree that Jaimon hasn't done much around Foxhall but it's difficult to score points against a Team of track specialists on their home track.

My previous post was a joke because Ouch is against everything Ipswich. Lidsey is a decent rider but he isnt Doyle or Emil.
