and ipswich had the best website of anyone prior to mayfield, Coleman may talk the talk but he seems to not like spending a penny and is always penny pinching, the cuts i seen mayfield make at the GP last weekend was mind boggling

Haha... my bad, thanks, that top option is clickable not just a drop down menu. I've been looking at some of the other clubs websites and some are really bad Belle Vue, can't find the results, Glasgow Fixtures and Results on different pages and website kept crashing for me.

I think he may have withdrawn from Sweden as he hasn't ridden for Vastervik for the past two weeks.

I really don't think Mayfield are in this to win trophies, They've basically only bought the Club to save the League from total collapse imo.

Failure to sign Jonas Jeppesen when presented the chance only to scramble around for Ed Kennett before reverting back to Hellstrom-Bangs.

Failure to re-sign Jason Doyle in a Double Change is just another piece of Mayfield failure imo.

Ipswich Speedway 2026 -> Paul Hurry's jobs for the boys with Mayfield not acting in the best interests of the supporters.

I think Mayfield have saved us and the league. For which we should all be grateful. Unfortunately, the speedway authorities are just delaying the inevitable collapse of speedway in the UK. In my opinion ( not universally popular I guess) the quicker we get a reset the better. Back to one league and get the youngsters on board and make the bloody sport viable again!

Maybe I'm being ungrateful here but I really struggle to think of anything positive to say about the new era.

I've been to Foxhall a couple of times this season already but the vibe is just off imo, Too much decline in a short period of time imo.

To me it feels like Buster Chapman (Pre 2026) is in charge who's put out a team just to make the numbers up on a tight budget with a Team Manager (Paul Hurry) who couldn't pull a leaf off a tree.

I like most are thankful Mayfield brought the club & they do have a free pass this year, however that won’t be extended into 2027.

Your point on Foxhall feeling flat this year I fully agree with you it does.

As for Doyle if Ipswich knew he was interested in coming back to the the uk I’d have looked at a double change possibly to get him back at Foxhall.

Said it from day one, they are hopeless, it's proven by the signings we made at the start, all the excuses about it being last minute, what a load of dross, they seem to think a new streaming service and a scoreboard that still isnt there would appeal to all the supporters, cracks are starting to show already....Edward Kennett, and if that wasn't bad enough, they couldn't convince Jason back over when it was obvious he would of returned, that's not sour grapes to Belle Vue, great bit of business by them and i hope Doyley goes well for them. The Jepperson signing, and don't forget the failure to get Thorsell over the line. Just Dreamers Full Stop.

The inclusion of JD would have exceeded the cost budget for riders. Might not be what you want to read, but at least you have a promotion with long term sustainability in mind.

I understand what you're saying but Speedway just for the sake of it isn't going to wash in the long run imo.
