The programme last night was a standard 2026 edition.

Then they have slashed the budget towards that. Unimpressive quality compared to what they have had before.
WookieboyDon Posted yesterday at 05:59 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:59 PM And I also thought Peter Shroeck sounded rather downbeat last night given it was the first meeting of the season. Now we know why…

It will be devastating if this causes any issues with the Speedway 😕 Was mocked for saying speedway had no future at Oxford as well.......... Toady Posted yesterday at 07:11 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:11 PM Looks like GBGB have little confidence in the future of Oxford and Kevin Boothby. Mark Bird, GBGB CEO, said: "GBGB understands why SIS has made this decision and shares their concerns about the situations at Oxford and Suffolk Downs. While Suffolk Downs was due to change hands next month regardless, Oxford's closure will be a real loss for our sport and the track will undoubtedly be missed by all its connections. "With such a sudden closure, our priority is the welfare of the greyhounds connected to both tracks and we are also concerned for the staff and trainers who will be affected. We will ensure that our Stipendiary staff are liaising with trainers and their staff as to the situation. "Kevin has made a considerable impact on greyhound racing during his time in the sport, and everyone in the sport will remember the success he made of the Derby in the years he promoted it at Towcester."

The first of many more I expect you also said it would never reopen but you would have been wrong about that. You really are a disgusting human being gloating about this. The first of many more You also spouted your usual BS about no new clubs ever opening again. Buxton and Northampton put paid to that ridiculous argument. So you were rightly mocked before and will continue to be…you utter 🤡 And that’s being kind. 🛎️🔚

Yes, I believe that is right, but where the money is coming from now, who knows?Courtney registered Oxford Speedway Ltd in January this year, so maybe he has another income source. I also heard a rumour that he has been asked to cover the lease until October at £20,000 a month. How true that is… Edited 2 hours ago by Toady
