Yup. Team planning underway.

And don't forget it's NOT the end of the season, since still three home fixtures for the Chagers

Was gonna make the same point. Clubs who moan about a lack of fixtures really should be running an NDL side.

In a world where teams ride 22 meetings (11 home & 11 away) in a season ofwhich starts in April.

In a way I agree, needs more fixtures, BUT most clubs in both leagues are struggling to reach break even level crowds ,throughout the season, so in theory more meetings mean more losses, then the risk of clubs closing. Clubs that appear to have consistently good crowds are Poole, Plymouth, Ipswich maybe Northampton, but these are dropping now, . others some crowds are either good at times but very poor other times. God knows how you move forward for the best of all involved

Govern and promote speedway better, make sure riders are available much more, vastly reduce guests, get the pricing right amd make fixtures more regular. Don't think the current management structure can deliver that so bring in somebody who can.

Indeed, I was referring to the Cheetahs though. Just shows the benefit of having the Chargers to fill out August and September...I bet they get even better crowds for those fixtures.

Great to hear team planning is underway.

Good luck with the team planning, when you don't know whether it's1or 2 leagues,6 or 7 rider teams and what the team building allowance is going to be

what could go wrong!.

'Team planning being underway' can mean anything from writing some names down on the back of a fag packet to having conversations with riders. I expect to some extent every team has starting some form of planning with several league structures/limits in mind.

It’ll be the usual.
2 leagues. 7 riders.
Just the smaller details of points limit and the silly 1 over 8 rule
